I'm glad to hear everything worked out for you. It was good you went in to get it checked out, and got on antibiotics. I once had a lump (abscess) form at the injection site on my ass. The lump lasted for over a week, and hurt like hell. I asked my buddy if he ever heard or had this kind of thing. He advised me to rub the shit out of it. I mean make a fist and rub your knuckles into and over the site. This process hurt like a mother fucker, I mean damn near took me to my knees. But this "driving your knuckles into the injection site" method miraculously worked. The abscess around the liquid injection was broken by this rough method and the product was then able to immerse into the tissue. I too was freaking out, but it all turned out well. The shit we do, lol.
