Post-DNP cycle having trouble

Hello,

I recently did my first 19 day cycle of DNP, and finished around 10 days ago. I ran 200 for the first 3 days, then 400 for the next 9 days, and then 550 for the last 7 days. I did suffered from lethargy and carb cravings throughout the cycle. I ate at my maintenance for the cycle and had around 3 days where i gave in to cravings. I lost around 2 pounds during the entire cycle, but I look much leaner, and have gotten comments on it from friends who workout with me. Mentioning it looks like I dropped 4-5% bf. I have been measuring my weight for the past 10 days after cycle to see any water weight drop bu to no avail. Today, I woke up very bloated and was 6 pounds heavier than yesterday. I am very confused on what is happening. I have read that it takes 10 days for water retention to come off, but I still feel very ropy around the waist and puffy at the face. I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this and can offer any sort of advice.

edit- I am also on 100 test prop, 150 tren ace, .5 Semaglutide.

Have read about some seemingly similar experiences. Check out posts/log from @ShredSeason over this last year for examples.

thank you, I will read it !!

One little thing about DNP. The rebound effect is a bitch. As much as you may try, you will gain some fat back after you stop. If the weight stayed off easy, it would be a whole lot more popular despite its negative effects.

I found that it took 2 weeks for the water to really drop. I look at my DNP logs and the drop is massive about 14 days after my last dose.

How’s your electrolytes and water intake? DNP throws everything off and maybe you haven’t recovered yet.

Also tbh, that’s a hefty dose of dnp you did. At 550 mg you should’ve been suffering but also losing a lot more than 2 lbs. Even with the water retention.

I would say increase water intake and wait a little longer. Increase fruit and veg intake if it’s low. The water should drop soon.

I have been doing quite a bit of research and I found that the DNP wasnt creating this problem of water retention.

At the moment I am running tren and test aswell. The Tren + DNP has hammered my thyroid and it is not produced any t3/t4. So i am getting t3 for a productive thyroid again.

Furthermore, I also was messing around with my e2 , but i convert e2 quite a bit so i think it is part to blame aswell. I will get back on ai track tho.

My sodium to Potassium ratio is around 1:3 , I dose 3g of potassium chloride every morning and dry scoop it, and keep a potassium rich diet throughout the day. + I drink a gallon of water a day. ( ig i normally urinate aswell )

My weight has surprisingly stayed the same even 12 days off. I think the reason ur water weight came off might be due to the thyroid rebouncing back, but i could be wrong. I have read that it will pratically go back to normal levels even after being suppressed for a long peroid of time.
