So I'm losing another 40lbs and well on my way. I'm doing a low carb diet and more HIIT instead of lifting (still some). My HIIT includes Prowler pushes and pulls, kettlebell swings, squats and stairs. I also do some inclined walking. On HIIT days I spend about an hour at the gym and using a HRM (yeah I know not the most accurate but lets say a rough estimate) burning 1000-1300 cals in that hour.
If I have a lifting day and spend an hour doing deadlifts, back and walking on incline I feel great afterwards. If I spend an hour doing the prowler, kettlebells and inclined walking I feel really depressed starting about an hour after getting home until the next morning.
Anyone else experience this with HIIT? It's working fantastically well and has spend up my weightless. I'm not losing too much strength either with my deadlifts, squats and bench.
