Post your back workout

You guys are freaking funny.....Lifting weights is not a rocket science....There is not that much difference in gains from all those exercises you guys are arguing about....For some guys it works better one way, for other ones the other way....I still think that you can't be stuck on only 3 exercises.....You need to switch them up, every once in a while (muscle memory) but I am sure that lots of guys have good success with doing only 3 exercises for years.....

Thank you, These morons here that demand an apologie because they don't agree with a post is very close to being insane, if not just completely insecure.
Then when you have pro after pro doing very similar back routines, and then some fat ass on a thread saying its completely wrong is just ridiculous.

You truly are illiterate. Or as close to illiterate as being able to read, yet not comprehend(not to mention write absolutely horrendously) is.

You made a FACTUALY incorrect statement(overhand grip recruits more biceps than underhand). You must retract this statement in order to make right with the world.

Don't worry, we realize you're a horrendous debater, so we won' t hold that against you. We will overlook the fact that you make shitty arguements and, seemingly, don't even understand what you're debating to begin with.

The fact remains that you said something that is irrefutably wrong and you must admit it or look like a bigger fool than you already do.

I wasn't arguing the efficacy of exercises as much as against the moronicisms of role model.

First, he said that NO ONE ever developed a big back using chins, which is, quite possibly, the dumbest thing ever posted in the forum. Then, in the face of visual proof, he said that Pudz has a small back. We are, of course, talking about a man who tapes out the same as any pro, as Bob Smith pointed out.

Then it was that chins are done on a lat pulldown machine and they're chins because you use an overhand grip. Then it was that an underhand grip utilizes much less bicep than an overhand grip.

There are a couple more, but I can't hardly bring myself to repeat such drivel.

Psychologically speaking, most people simply cant do the same 3 movements over and over for years on end. They need variation for their own sanity. But from a physiological perspective, I dont think there is any reason why you couldnt perform the same 3 movements and end up with outstanding results. Possibly much better results than those who are constantly switching things around. Look at the back development of Olympic lifters - 2-3 movements over and over for years on end. They have huge, well developed backs, traps, and so on. So much for the necessity of switching movements frequently.

One reason why I and others believe Poliquin switches up movements every 3 weeks is for nueral learning. Introduce a new movement to someone and they quickly show "strength gains" that dramatically slow down after about 3-5 weeks (assuming non-newbies). So rotate movements every 3 weeks, make people feel like they are really getting stronger, and then test them at the end of 1 year. Most wont be much, if any, stronger at the end of the year because all theyve done is spent their time learning new movements.

OK, here's my most recent back workout, just finished it yesterday. On the rep ranges (take 8-10 for example) if I can't lift the weight 8 times I lighten the load slightly, if I can lift the weight more than 10 times I increase it by a few lbs.

Chins - 50 reps (usually 5 sets)
T-Bar Rows - 4 x 8-10
DB Rows - 4 x 8 -10
Deadlifts - 4 x 8,6,4,2
Hyper Extensions - 3 x 10-12

I generally use a 4010 tempo for all movements except deadlifts.
