Powerlifting books?

Hey guys can anyone point a brother towards some good PL books that would be good for beginner powerlifters? I always get the most from reading and I'd like to dive further into the sport of powerlifting by adding some good books to my personal library.

There's a short and quite entertaining book by Paul Kelso called Powerlifting Basics, Texas-Style. It's basic information told as stories, so if you're looking for more of a technical manual, this isn't it. I got paperback copy through Ironmind some years ago, but it looks like they don't have it listed on their website anymore. Amazon has it digitally for about $10.

Also just saw Ironmind has it digitally on their website:

Hmm that’s weird it’s on members only but receive news feed was on nobody and now on members only maybe that works?

Still can't. Might be something like you don't have a high enough post count for PMs. I'll try posting it on your profile and see if that works.

Edit: Can't post on your profile either.

That might be the reason i’ll guess. I appreciate that! Thankyou!

Will start tomorrow with a PL program, any program you recommend?

On trt
BP 5 x 165
Deadlift 5 x 220
Squat 5 x 200
OHP 5 x 120
I have barbell some dumbells and GHR

Thankyou very much! Funny to see there’s also the menno henselmans course because i did that one

You're welcome. As far as programs if you're just starting out I'd just do something like Stronglifts or Starting Strength and get what progression you can out of it before going to an intermediate routine.

And yeah, that google drive account gets stuff added to it. I hadn't even looked at it in years until recently. It's got way more on it than last time I was on it.

If you're still looking for a good powerlifting book, back in 90s, I read a book named POWER. I can't remember who wrote it, maybe Robert Kennedy (owner of Muscle Mag International magazine). It was very helpful in every sense of the sport.
