Pre-Contest Test/Mast/Tren/Winny log

30 years old 6’1 180 pounds 8.1% BF tested with dexa scan

Background:
Been lifting since I was around 14. Got more serious in my late teens. I have always been smaller/leaner and I wouldn’t go so far to say I had a “crazy fast” metabolism but I certainly am predisposed to being smaller.
Took a few pro hormone cycles back in high school and had good results, first time touching real gear was for my second men’s physique competition. As a hulking before I ran 500 test by itself and responded rapidly. For my competition I ran 500 test e/500 mast e. Also ran test/deca/drol cycle for another bulk. This will be my fourth “cycle”

Important to note I got on TRT (200mg test/200 deca) 6 months ago. Got bloods done last week so I have a good baseline. Also have really healthy cholesterol at baseline so I will certainly be monitoring that.

Training: The split may look strange but that because I try to train lagging body parts 2-3 times a week. Cardio is low to medium intensity exercise bike for 60 minutes currently (2 sessions a week). Training I heavy on the compound lifts, 4-6 reps, super sets and hypertrophy training

Monday: Cardio/calves
Tuesday: back/Bis
Wednesday: chest/glutes
Thursday: shoulders/tris
Friday: cardio/calves
Saturday: Legs

Sunday: chest (80% of my work with lateral delts and a few sets of triceps superset at end

Diet:
Because I wasn’t planning on competing I was just dieting down while experimenting with carbs. I have dieted down to low VF (sub 7%) four times prior to this all using moderate fat high protein low/no carb. Because I am ahead of schedule being 12 weeks out, I will be keeping my Saturday “cheat” day as I had been losing weight/Bf week over week. Previously I was cheating every 2 weeks.

Monday/Friday (cardio/light day):
100 gram carb (primarily from fruit, strawberries/blackberries/apples)
300 gram protein (32 oz chicken breast)
Negligible fat, none added, around 20 grams

Tuesday-Thursday (heavy days):
400 carb (baked potato, fruit, oatmeal)
250 protein (16 oz chicken, overnight oats with protein powder as primary source)
No fats added, around 35 grams

Saturday: Eat whatever. I will say my appetite is there but I do fill up easy.

Sunday: protein (shakes/lean red meat primarily), vegetables (asparagus cucumber) and mild fruits (berries) usually will have lean steak for dinner, sirloin/filet minon
Around 75 carb and 250 protein

Cycle:
I started at 12 weeks out:
500/week test p pinning eod
500/week mast p pinning eod

Adrol 50mg/day will cut after 3-4 weeks depending on bloating and strength

I chose Adrol to attempt to put on some size and I wasn’t planning on competing and I have moren or less been in a caloric deficit for close to a year (I took around 2 months off my diet during winter)

Arimidex at .25 mg 2x week (don’t run AI during TRT)

Starting week 10

300/week test p pin ED
600/week mast p pin ED
210/week tren pin ED

Plan on running those doses all the way through

Week 8-12
Winny 50mg/day

I have blood work from baseline before TRT and blood work from just prior to beginning blast for reference. On my TRT I had no estrogen sides, although estrogen was 60 (test 1500). Baseline estrogen was 38
 
Day 5 update:

Trained back and bis last night on a “high” cal day. Pumps are insane and I’m already looking pretty nasty (albeit for a little guy). Training intensity is at around a 9/10. I’m really pushing myself. I would say 10 but the focus isn’t always 100%.

Actually got my first baby embolism. I had heard and read about tren cough but I got a small but very apparent sensation in my throat when pinning mast and test. Wasn’t anything crazy and I’m glad I was aware of it.

Feeling really good, no noticeable sides. Plan to switch to ED vice EOD. I like the pumps and fullness that I’m already experiencing from Anadrol. I plan on running that 3-4 weeks to bridge into my new doses of 300Test/600Mast/210Tren.

I meet with my coach who I have worked with in the past come Friday so I should have a better game plan on diet. I’ve always done my own diet and training but I’m going to put my full faith and buy into his plan.
 
I figured if I keep logging someone will see ima follow through and they can see what someone’s entire training diet cycle looks like leading into a contest.
My two previous shows I won my open class in NPC men’s physique. First show was natty and weighed 167, second show I had two cycles under my belt, was on stage at 181. I believe this will be a dramatic improvement over my previous physique.

Met with my coach today and he hasn’t provided adjustments as he requested the same information im providing here now. He was fine with me on 500test/500 mast and 50 Anadrol. Mind you I’m already very lean, somewhere sub 8%.

Protein and veggies only to recover from free feed day
Typically have 16 oz lean steak (sirloin) and asparagus for dinner and have shakes/protein/fruit smoothies

cardio/calves/abs 45 mins medium intensity bike, calve raises 6 sets, ab roller 6 sets

I just started doing weekly free feeds as opposed to cheating once every two weeks. It has minimized binging and I do get fuller much faster and for longer than when I did keto.

Meals are eaten in no specific order

Have swapped red beans/rice or fat free refried beans for potato. Prefer potatoes/oats as carb source

Macros have been adjusted as follows: 4 high days, 3 low days.

Sticking with 500 test p/500 mast p and 50 Anadrol for now. Probably will pull Anadrol after 3 weeks. Debating on when/if to add tren and/or decrease test/increase mast.

Strength is up, had my last “free feed” day Saturday. Todays first two meals were a protein shake, quest bar, and banana (pre and post workout meal)

Other two meals were thick pork chop, sirloin steak, asparagus.

Got my meal plan down with the new macros, excited to be eating more fats and curious to see how I respond. As I stated earlier this is the first time I’m giving someone control over macros and also the first time dieting with carb based.

Bumped Anadrol to 75mg and will likely only run for 3 weeks total.

Having more morning wood, night sweats (likely due to food intake) and a little acne but I’m usually prone to sweat/bacteria based acne on my shoulders and back so trying to keep it clean throughout the day.

Injecting 3ml EOD gives pretty noticeable PIP in Delts. I do the normal stuff, warm the oil, massage after. I also try to line up my pins with training sessions and that helps. Glutes take the oil like a champ, though. After the first two weeks I will switch to pinning ED as it’s just easier and I think rotating glutes and Delts with less oil will be sufficient.

I plan on doing around 3 updates a week, a lot of information will get dropped, if anything it’ll be nice for me to have. I use old weekly progress pics to track where I’m at comparatively for say 10 weeks out or 4 weeks out, my body weight at the time, my relative strength etc. Smart phones certainly help with tracking things.

I think it helps with everything, right? Granted this is full bore contest prep, but if you’re not tracking things it’s difficult to isolate variables and identify what is helping or hurting, working or not working.

I’m trying to sort out how to share progress pictures while maintaining OPSEC. It’ll be a regional NPC level show. I am only competing in the open class mens physique.
 
What's your current weight now and if there is a targeted stage weight?
Don’t really care about how much I weigh on stage. Last time I was 181 depleted and was in stage around 186-187. I also started that prep at 8 weeks, pretty lean and natty at 169 pounds. I’m around 183 in the morning now, but I’ve been on Anadrol and don’t know how much weight I will hold/maintain. I was 179 at 12 weeks out on TRT. Because I was cruising on TRT into this prep and food has been low for the past 3 months already, I imagine with more food and gear I’ll grow a bit into the show. Even though this is a men’s physique contest, the most dramatic improvement I’ve made is in my legs. I also don’t train strictly for men’s physique, I go for proportions, symmetry, v taper etc. With that in mind, here are my legs prior to my last show.

I have made some pretty solid development in my shoulders and upper chest too.

Day 12 update:



Strength is moving up pretty quickly here. Can certainly feel the pumps. I would say I feel a bit more aggressive in the gym, but not too much added irritability outside the gym, and I’m super prone to that.



Back acne started to flare up a little bit but I am also prone to sweating and bacteria/sweat related acne so with the temperature rising im always trying to be mindful of that. I’m cleaning my back multiple times a day and using acne wipes after the gym because I don’t always get to shower straight away.



Around day 7 I pumped Anadrol to 75mg and haven’t felt any additional sides but do feel the strength and fullness for sure. I don’t feel or look bloated but definitely rounder and maybe a bit softer. I only decided to bump to 75 because I plan to use as a bridge to Tren, which I just started at 175/week.



I may run Tren as high as 280, but am still debating what to do with test and mast at 500 each. I was initially leaning towards 300 test/600 mast/240 tren.



This is my first experience with Tren, last prep I ran 500 test e and mast e all the way through with no orals. With only one injection down (I’m doing ED) the only side was some pretty serious PIP even at .25mg but it completely subsided within a few hours.



This is the freakiest I’ve felt and strongest I’ve ever been at this weight, to put it in perspective, I did have a 450 squat and 600 deadlift but at 220 BW. I defiantly feel better being this weight and don’t plan on ever trying to just push for size that hard again.

Will be running blood work immediately following week 3.
 
Day 14:

Strength is up, but I got bit in the top of the hand by a cat (she fell from a tree last weekend and her back/hind quarter is FUCKED up). Didn’t hurt too bad at first but she must have gotten a tendon or nerve because my hand and wrist is swollen something serious. Trained legs yesterday and today is an off day so hoping to be able to train chest tomorrow.

Feeling good. Progress pics show I’m either putting on a little fat or holding water. Hard to tell with the Anadrol. Will be curious to see what I look like once dropping Anadrol.

Comparing previous progress pics, I’m about 4-5 weeks ahead on conditioning from previous show.

Currently on 175/week of tren and I do feel a tad more irritable but nothing crazy. I plan to keep that dose for two weeks (another week) and then bump to 245/week. If the sides are the same or manageable will bump and hold at 280/week for the remaining 8 weeks. Will keep test and mast at 500/500 and reassess at 8 weeks out with the tren.
 
It's interesting to see all the details I love working out but I've never been to a competition and all the hard work must really pay off but I try and learn from you guys.

I appreciate that. Like I said earlier, even if no one replies/follows or just lurkers it’s always good to have info to go back to. It does get easier the more times you diet, knowing what works well for you, not manipulating too many variables at once. Knowing the macros of different foods.

It’s wild to me, being out of the game for a couple years/having been in the game for more than half my life, there seems to be so many people that are informed more than ever and I applaud that yet the TikTok trends and everyone jumping on serious cycles and drugs without knowing the interactions, potential health ramifications etc.
 
Well boys, hand was worse than I thought, got infected really badly and really quickly, went to the ER Saturday night and got an injection of antibiotics and oral antibiotics, got a little worse before I finally saw some relief this morning. I’m in a sling, elevating it, taking naproxen and icing. I’m hoping to be back in the gym Wednesday or Thursday. I have wanted to take a little time off or Delia’s at some point so I guess this is it.

I’m keeping my diet in check, I’m tightening up and seeing changes daily but I’m also up almost 10 pounds due to the infection and holding water. Skin is tighter everywhere, namely shoulders, striations in chest and shoulders and quad separation is coming in, I’m hoping once I get past this, and the Anadrol and drop the water ima start to look really nasty.

Figured out the plan for moving forward, I’m going to do a fourth week of Anadrol at 50 mg just to help with retention of muscle mass through this injury and keeping strength up.

From week 8-12 the plan is

Test P: 420/week
Mast P: 595/week
Tren A: 280/week

Waiting to decide on when and what doses to add winny in the end.
going to run T3/clen with the following protocol. Will manipulate Clen if needing help filling out etc but I usually don’t have an issue with that. I have ran t3 and Clen before so I’m familiar with how it affects me.

T3 will be 50mcg weeks 5-12
Clen will be weeks 5-10~

Week 2-60 mcg
Week 3-4-80 mcg
