You said it yourself, you don't have to register until the day of comp.... so fuck it man!! Shoot for it! Give it a whirl. Coach will definitely be a good buy... I've never competed but I hear posing is tough. They can help you with everything and bring up your lagging body parts and what not. See where you can go in 2 months brother. I'm in.

Just a small update, weighed in today at 193.5. On the 8th I was 195 but felt kind of bloated that day so doubt that I had a 1.5lb fatloss in 5 days but who knows.

Still haven't started cycle. 10 days until that begins (the 23rd). Very ready to begin because I feel flat as fuck all the time. My workouts are always great tho and have plenty of energy.

This week I am changing my routine in the gym, more volume with a bit lighter weight. I had been doing my own style of 5x5 for the last 2 months to try and get my strength up. Reason for this is Ive always grown more when I do more volume vs heavy weight low reps. Heavy weight low reps for me provides strength and density but not much size or separation.

As far as results go It appears my body is starting to "pick" where it wants to lose fat next. Its hard to explain but Im noticing new veins in my forearms weekly, and faint veins are coming out in my lower abs. Also beginning to have striations in my delts and some in chest. Its almost like my body picks a place to lose fat next but still holds it in certain areas, my calves are freakishly vascular now, as are my forearms. Will try to get a pic of these soon.

Ill also take pics on the 23rd, the morning I begin my cycle.

Different people lose fat in different areas slower or faster. For me personally, my abdomen is last to go, while my legs, arms, and even face will lose fat early on in a cut. That's pretty typical for males, also being hard to lose fat on the sides of lower back. For women, they tend to store more and lose less in the ass and thighs. I read an article once that talked about where you store/lose fat and how it relates to your hormonal balance. If I can find it I'll post the link

Just thought everyone should know that I had enough left over calories for the day to enjoy one skinny cow ice cream sandwich and it was the most amazing thing I've ever eaten. Probably because I strictly meet my macros day in and day out. But every now and again on IIFYM it ends up working out in your favor. It was a short 4-5 minutes but it was complete bliss!
 
So I bought a large calendar today. So I can write notes and keep track. Turns out my cycle will begin on the 21st which is Thursday of next week. Going to get bloods prior to first injection. Going by days instead of weeks cycle is

1-60 pharmamix 2 1cc daily
20-60 var 100mg daily
61-80 winstrol/halo 100mg/50mg daily

Still going to ask doc to double my thyroid hormone on Thursday.

Not using fat burner until maybe 4-6weeks out but only if I feel I need it. You get to a point to where you can only drop cals so low and still get in enough protein and only enough time to do so much cardio/weights. So this will only be used if I've exhausted all of that and need to create a little more of a caloric deficit.

Saturday I will be exactly 12 weeks out!!! And shits gonna get really serious!
 
It has been over three weeks since I have "cheated" on my diet. Last time was on Easter Sunday, and I really didn't even go crazy that day.

Im going to keep my promise to myself that I had set which is one last "cheat day" before my cycle which is starting on Thursday. IIFYM has most certainly helped keep me sane during this calorie deficit. And Im legitimately getting veins in my abs now...starting to think Im cutting to fast. But Im going to stick with the program.


Ive already had a pop tart and two bowls of frosted flakes haha. Going for a 3 miles jog within next hour. For lunch Im going to my favorite whole in the wall taco place where this man that is old as dirt makes the best brisket & sausage BBQ taco. Then a PBJ pre workout. Large protein shake post workout. Followed by dominos pizza for dinner.

As I said I begin the cycle on Thursday and am going to call doc here in a minute to get bloods done that day. Ill also take some progress photos that day of my results so far.
 
I'm still going to track my calories and macros for the day. Will report back with the damage.

I personally don't believe that refeeds or cheat days are really beneficial for the physique / goal. I'm a numbers guy calorie in :: calorie out and enough protein for muscle to feed on in what I practice.

I do believe that ''refeeds" or cheat days are highly beneficial to keeping ones sanity and staying in for the long haul. After today I doubt I will incorporate another during this prep tho. Unless I get to lean to quick.
 
Thanks bro. And yea definitely doesn't look liked I've cycled much now I agree. 2 years of only resistance training 3 times a week and not taking in enough calories will do that tho.

I estimated 20 cycles. Used for 8 years blasting and cruising. Don't know how many I did during that time. Then been off for last two only using trt

Normally not taking in enough calories keeps you lean. Not to be offensive but to lean out more cardio will help you more than aas, aas don't burn fat. An appropriate diet and cardio do. Maybe look into clen and eca stack to help burn fat. But I just don't want you to he unsatisfied with results. Remember you have to do something different to get a different outcome.

Thanks for the reply bro. I have just changed my cardio routine at the 12 week out mark. Was jogging 1 mile after weight training. Am now jogging 3 miles EOD separate from weight training. Will be doing this for 3 weeks and reevaluating if I need to bump it up to increase the caloric deficit if needed.
 
I think you got a good start , your reasonably lean and muscular with prior cycles . Most guys come here near obese .

Stop in to my Foodie thread (its in my signature) and see what the big dogs here eat . Its the place for Gainz ;)....

On a side note my cheat day is over. The damage:
4300cals
562carbs
162fat
166protein

Ate like a pregnant chick today. It was great. But glad it's over. Some may find this excessive and that's okay. Since Easter I have been eating exactly 2250cals per day. Out of those cals 200g was protein up until this past Saturday when I bumped it to 225g.

beginning Thursday when I start my cycle I am going to drop calories by 150 per day (so 2100 daily) and up protein from 225 to 250. This is going to start making IIFYM a little bit more difficult and am going to have to stick with mostly "bro" foods to meet that low of calories with that much protein.

I will not be having another cheat day. Only exception would be if I hit 5-6% by 4 weeks out. If so I'll have a cheat meal or two but not a whole day.

Cheat day went well. Got in what I was craving and didn't obsess on what I had to eat next as usual. I still ran 3 miles and trained shoulders today. Looked pretty freaky in the gym. Glycogen is definitely already replenished.

Will be 11 weeks out on Saturday. Will post new pics on Thursday before first pin of the cycle.

And I'm expecting bashing to come with this post and that's fine. I'm looking great.

These were today April 21st. Exactly one month from the first ones I posted. This was with only TRT and low dose Deca.

Updates: I have lowered my calories to 2100 and think I will maintain this for a while. Tried raising protein but have decided Im just going to get a minimum of 210grams a day.

Went to doctor today and advised him on what Im doing. Hes so fucking cool! He raised my adex from mon & fri to mon, wed, fri. Also doubled my thyroid hormone dosage. I didn't have to get blood work at this visit, could have asked for it but Im more concerned with it 8-10 weeks from now.

STARTED PHARMA MIX 2 TODAY.

no pip and much smoother / lower viscosity then my pharma test c

shit just got real..

Let me know what yall think about that four week progress.

Good luck. From what I've seen depending on what weight class your going for you may be good or may still need to gain a few pounds to take a win. How much do you weigh, height, and what do you plan on competing for if you don't mind me asking?
