im 308 lbs im on a major cutting cycle i just wanted to know if anybody knew if any body had any recommedned type of protein and where to buy it cheap?

This is my typical protein "shake" schedule and composition:

Waking: 25g 100% whey isolate
1hour Pre-Workout: 25g 100% whey isolate
Post-Workout 25g Micellar Casein & 25g 100% whey isolate
Bedtime: 25g Micellar Casein

I prefer isolate b/c it is extremely bioavailable, low-cal, no fat, no sugar. Isolate upon waking puts the brakes on any catabolism that may have started during sleep. Isolate post-workout provides an immediate source of protein to begin muscle repair, while the casein post-workout triggers a boost in IGF-1 levels as well as providing needed protein. The casein before bedtime delivers a steady stream of protein to help prevent the aforementioned nighttime catabolism. The other 200g of protein in my daily regimen come from whole food!
