In pharma tons. Mainly because it's cheaper for bulk production, sometimes because it's needed to reduce the immune reaction since they're more "natural" and don't activate the immune system to the same extent.

In presentations to the FDA, both Novo and Eli brought up the fact that the GLPs they make are recombinant produced from yeast, while compounders appear to be using synthesized Tirz and Sema, finding significantly higher in vitro immune reactions in the later.

At the FDA's compounder's advisory committee meeting a couple of weeks ago, this chart was brought up showing how much stronger immunogenicity was in compounded produced formulations (two on the right of each chart), vs pharma (on the left) The peptide wasn't mentioned, but a GLP was implied.

What caught my attention was how much this "legal UGL" compounder produced peptide immune reaction was reduced after filtering (chart on the right), 80%. Even pharma produced peptide immune reactions were lessened, which may explain why in Europe, more and more pharma peptides include instructions to filter immediately before administration

Just get the 10iu vials, There's only a small per iu savings between them and the higher iu vials, and even at that low dose you'll go through them fast enough that degradation won't be an issue.

Unknowable without testing that batch under the same conditions.

What we do know is, all other factors being equal, it'll be less after 5 days than 18.

Ive seen the Janoshik report of GH losing almost 50% potency after being reconstituated and left at room temperature for 6 days, but do you think 12-16 hours @ room temp will have much of a degradation effect? Cant really find any info on how quickly it starts degrading

Are you taking about propranolol? I know a surgeon who takes it before she performs surgery to steady her hands. Most of the Indian vendors here carry it, It’s not controlled.

See the phosphate buffer data sets at 5 deg C and 37 deg C

You could try to interpolate these data to get an effective rate constant at 25 deg C for both physical and chemical degradation (try typical Arrhenius plot and it's a straight line as only two data points).
