Qingdao Sigma Chemical Co., Ltd (International, US, EU, Canada and Australia domestic

It’s one of my all time favorite stories.
Technically he donated her brain, so I'm sure that wasn't blown up. I hope they sued for the unauthorized use of the body.. I just hope it wasn't in the small print. Some of these folks know grieving people don't have time to read every minutia.

Thanks for the link!
There is also "sunny solutions" on discord. I just ordered some 30ml Hospira bac water 4.50 each and 10ml Hospira sterile water for injec ( i think was 3.00) and some syringe filters. She also has some different buffered water.
That's a great price. How would I find sunny solutions on Discord? I'm not having any luck.

That Raman is working overtime at the ports in appears.

Happens to be the week CBP is moving to an enormous new facility, with streamlined high tech cargo scanning at an adjacent new contractor built and operated facility, as previously announced, primarily to deal with the 10x increase in packs from China in the last few years. FDA also locating a chem analysis lab in the same building, for a one stop enforcement shop.

Not to worry though. I'm told the recently added ability to accurately identify liquids so they no longer need to be removed from bags at TSA lines, with $30k scanners, is pure fantasy, and the much larger, more sophisticated, machines coasting millions a piece that will be used used by CBP couldn't possibly identify compounds within boxes. I mean that would be Star Trek shit.

Are they moving this week or just secured the lease? these guys move very slowly often moving teams/depts in batches

I'm sure you already posted. Good overview.

Raman integrated with CT.

In order to enable rapid identification, there's been an agreement made between numerous countries to standardize "signature files" despite machines of different brands this new generation of "multi energy" scanners being employed. This way, when a new compound or item "of interest" is discovered, its signature can be rapidly shared by cooperating customs agencies.

This will allow much faster, AI "hint based" recognition, rather than a slower detailed scan, needed when prioritizing volume over the extreme precision they're capable of.

Without going into all the specs again, the sum total of the tech being employed in one of these devices, in the medical research setting, it's capable of analyzing a blood sample in a vial for its composition, a far more technically difficult task than what customs is using it for.

The way GSA leases are written, whatever work is needed for the "tenant" is completed prior to the lease being finalized, and it's largely turn key(except for sensitive tech the govt will handle itself). So they're in the process for sure, but hopefully it'll take the usual government timeline of a year+ of chaos, split between the old and new location, to get up to speed, but who knows.

For a QSC pack? Wow, haven't seen anyone report one of those for a long while.

I wonder what it's for, given the all the "resealed and shipped" packs from customs containing vials of oils. Was starting to think QSC was immune.

Raws I presume?
Raws, but not AAS. Two items that are typically classified as research chemicals. I’m surprised it was taken.

I was reading a bit of Chinese news on DuckDuckGo and saw there are a lot of raids on shipping facilities. Cosco, the shipping company, got blacklisted by the US for assisting the military and now the Chinese are going around and raiding them to see what they are housing. I didn’t dive too deep but it would all make sense to stop shipping during this time. Don’t want to get caught up in that mess.

Hopefully an FDA letter, not a CBP letter

However, if those raws aren't controlled, that's a concerning shift in enforcement policy. There has to be some justification for confiscating a product that's not illegal, and up to now, unless a non-controlled substance was labeled. or packaged for human use, they couldn't do it.

On the other hand, just misdeclaring the goods, ie, asprin powder as "cosmetics" is enough for it to be seized.

If it's nothing opsec, you'd be doing us a big favor by letting us know the reason for the seizure when the letter comes.
