I *thought* I learned my lesson 2 years ago when a "always takes 2 weeks" delivery took almost 3 months. So I built up enough of a gear buffer to get through that if it ever happened again.
Then when the India PCTpocolypse happened last spring I got caught out again, running out of essentials.
Now, never again. My rule of thumb is 3 years of anything I don't want to live without. Been topping up during promos to maintain that "buffer". So now shortages are interesting, but don't even rise to the level of inconvenience.
Next up is following
@Sampei 's lead and getting a small cryofreezer for keeping a long term supply of peptides at -80c.
