Surely it can. We just did a bunch of customer sent products. Haven't tested any QSC oils. The oil we tested was GA.

Looked like chunks of the stopper to me. I've never seen oxidated oils or how it'd look. I use grapeseedoil and usually make my test for the whole year. The last vials look like the first vials.
But I brew differently then a lab like this would. I filter mines into sealed sterile vials. So to make the process a little easier I use 18g syringes. Those harpoons are known to core the stopper unless you put them in at an angle and properly.
I've cored my stoppers and have chunks of them floating in vials. I've seen them float and sink to the bottom. I've never been concerned. A 22g or 23g which i use to draw won't suck it up.
If it's the same color as stopper I'd think it's that.
But stoppers aren't supposed to be breaking down like this. Unless you're coring them like I have. And I imagine qsc isn't brewing the way I brew. As big an operation they are.

I guess "empathize" is more accurate. On one hand he's tested the shit out of his products compared to the competition. It would be dishonest to fail to recognize he's forced the level of testing everyone has to do to compete up. He does make positive changes in response to feedback.
It's not like I believe he thinks this floater issue is "fine", and I'm sure he's chewed someone's ass over it more than once, but for whatever reasons can't seem to get a grip on it. I'm not so sure it's just bad stoppers either. No one else has this problem, is QSC the only customer of this shit stopper maker?
Ultimately though, this is his responsibility to fix. Outside of MESO in discussions of gear whenever "QSC" comes up the word "floaters" now follows at some point. Pay someone to refilter this stuff into vials with good stoppers. IMO not another kit should go out that hasn't been verified floater free until the production issues are fixed.
Let's not forget the initial response from the crowd that prioritized "cheap" above all else was "don't be a pussy, just filter it bubble boys", so it's not like pressure was applied like it should've been.
