A little water retention, a little dizziness. Mostly gone after a couple of weeks Completely gone after a month.

As you can see even those transient side effects are fairly rare. At 5mg once a day less than 1% of patients have to stop using it because of unresolved sides. Just power through it. You only need to go through the adjustment period once, but odds are you won't have any sides at all.

LoL. I gained 8lbs of water weight on this crap in 3 weeks. Eventually had to stop it because of the weight gain and vivid nightmares

Sorry, someone's gonna fall into that 1%.

Hope you found an alternative that worked for you, luckily there are plenty.

Studies show most people who don't adhere to BP meds (and the majority don't unfortunately) give up really early, instead of allowing the time for sides to resolve.

That sure is the truth. Go to Drugs.com and look at the wacky things people say about even the most mild drugs. People claiming a low dose statin made them apparently completely unable to walk and other such crazy shit on just about any drug you can think of.

TRT forums for the average man are just as bad. Strange, never heard of before side effects on even the lowest dosages of testosterone.

This is also why it's so risky to "help" others out, especially with GLPs, where "normies" are often the recipients, vs those accustomed to using gear and other substances.

In the absence of other explanations for whatever maladies might befall them, they'll convince themselves the one "weird" thing they did, using a UGL glp med, is certainly the cause of their cancer, pattern balding, erectile dysfunction, divorce, etc etc.

@Middus Not suggesting you're a hypochondriac of course, edema, along with fatigue are the two most common sides from BP meds, and while they resolve for most, they don't for everyone.

7.5 mg once a week, worked great for months and then barely any appetite suppression the past couple weeks. I remember you mentioned some stuff about immunogenicity or something, wonder if it’s related to that.

I presume you've been losing weight this entire time and now it's leveled off +\- 5lbs?

They don't work like diet pills in the sense of inducing appetite suppression with every dose.

TLDR: GLPs lower the set point of your body's energy homeostasis (weight regulation) system. Once you reach whatever weight it's now set to at a given dose, appetite suppression stops. If you gain weight, it'll kick back in.

To go lower, increase the dose, Once that new lower weight is reached, appetite suppression will again stop.

The maintainance dose is established as whatever dose you're on at your ideal weight, while feeling nothing in terms of effects.

Immunogenicity is also possible; but unless you're progressively gaining weight at 7.5mg and appetite suppression isn't returning, what you're describing is more likely the above.

Maybe time to bump your dose up. I think I’ve read 15mg wk is max dosing level

I regret not knowing what I know now and getting a handle on my BP in my early 30s when it was clearly too high.

Damage is not only a result of high BP, but how long one is in that state. It's one of the reasons why the new guidelines address it much earlier.

To be frank, while they still recommend "lifestyle changes", getting BP down immediately with meds, not waiting years to see if it can be brought down other ways. is seen as preferred now And no, it's not a "big pharma" conspiracy. Most BP meds are dirt cheap generics.

But when docs don't take it seriously, you assume it's no big deal.

Better late than never. Regardless of how much damage has been done, stopping it as soon as you can is a smart move, and the more time you go on with BP under control, the more your odds increase of avoiding health problems.
Same here. I think as do many others HBP is the reason for much of the heart attacks and even more so kidney failure you see. Mine ran way too high for too long and while now it is fully under control and monitored, I know I have some permanent damage from it.

Correct, although it's been my experience, for whatever reason, UGL tirz is not as potent, with 20-25mg being closer the effect of 15mg Zepbound.
Ah interesting I did switch to UGL tirz recently but I assumed since the test was good it would work the same. Thanks for info, I’ll increase dose.

They never list insomnia as a side with Amlodipine but after 3-4 nights of sleep issues I started looking for info.

But after day 2 of combining 20mg Telmisartan and 5mg Amlodipine my BP dropped significantly. I tried 40mg of Telmisartan by itself but my potassium got out of range quick.
