This is what America voted for, but the worst part is that the new president just decided to do executive orders, stop inbound packages one day then next day resume, and didn't give enough time to all small business to prepare, all while CNY was happening, it was a shitty move to prove his power, on top of that our local USPS is a mess, worse than the holidays, express packages are late which they have to refund cuz is next day or money back, so they are loosing $$ while trying to fix the issue, they don't wanna hire new stuff and I went to my local PO my friend that was supposed to retire got an offer of 30K to extend his job till end of March, a bonus of 10K a month which is a good offer cuz they got money to spend like that and not hire new staff to give em benefits, they want temporarily workers w no benefits, those are the ones that still parcels and do a shitty job
Here we are all paying the high price of a narcissist that want to destroy small business by proving his point and make executive orders not giving time to anyone to get prepared for his tantrums

I've had two orders impacted - international stuck in NY "Delivered to local carrier" in December with no further updates and domestic, which got mailed after the security issue announcement. The latter gives me hope that Tracy may still come back. Otherwise why would he mail the domestic order after going offline?

Doesn't mean anything, the order was likely added to the queue of packages whatever "warehouse" is housing them and they finally got to it.

It's the same template shoving politics into here lately. The same lines, the same "recruiting" behavior, trying to harness the frustration of people unable to access cheap gear to "convert" them to the ideology of the poster.

The end of De Minimus for China and all the problems it caused for acquiring AAS, Sched III drugs, were long coming and probably the most bi-partisan issue in a decade.

When I warned people they should consider "stocking up" last August it wasn't dependent on who got elected.

And De minimus is still over for China btw, there's been no "flip flop".

De minimus is an exemption from customs scrutiny and duty.

Duties aren't being imposed, but the rest, full customs documentation is required,

This documentation is how customs primarily determines which packs are suspicious and which aren't.

The post office said, unlike the freight companies that were prepared, they couldn't comply, unable to provide that additional data to CBP because they weren't getting it from China Post(not the way UGL vendors ship anyway).

So a pause was imposed until they complied. Less then 24 hours later they found a way to supply the required data to CBP and packs were allowed to flow. That's not "chaos", it's imposing consequences for failing to comply with the law, and it fixed that problem in one day. That's success, not a "circus".

But I can understand people who admire the efficiency of the DMV or believe the USPS is a great organization filled with customer service oriented employees could be disturbed by such quick action.

Europe / Asia it's no issue whatsoever, a plus in many ways, French Canada no worries either. Only in the places with lingering puritan values, the US, UK, and English speaking Canada, do you get the silent looks of disapproval.

Funnily enough I ended up with a mrs of 2 years older than myself but she usually gets question by young women in their early 20s while she is in the changing room about how to have a waist like hers or a butt like hers lol.

Also people are usually shocked when she says she is 40 (I am 38 people less shocked about me but that's FINE I don't care LOL)
As she looks between 24 to 28 depending on her attire.

Haha funny enough my ex-wife is Quebecois, and I lived in Montreal for many years with her. You're right; English Canada has a different value system with this shit. I have given up caring about the looks we get in public with this young skinny blonde hanging off my arm. They can think what they want, we don't care.

QSC had piss poor OPSEC. That’s who you should blame. Every other source is finding ways to function. I called yall morons for dealing with QSC right out the jump. I’m actually surprised he made it this far.
