I'm honestly pretty sure that was the way when i signed up as well.

Not sure exactly how long I had to wait to post (didn't matter to me as I wasn't interested in interacting right away)...but think I could access and post within 24 hours of making an intro post.

For me it was about 80 to 100 posts. Evidently new members (< 20 posts) can post to UG immediately without paying. So much for the harm reduction FAQ.

Yep, I've been lurking since QSC went MIA. Created an account so I could react to posts and was sorely disappointed.

In my experience it works quite well. Like any of these tools, it doesn’t absolve one from reasoning and verification, but it certainly accelerates certain activities.

It is quite good at statistics and I am not. In that sense I find it to be beneficial.

Right I understand. I was able to post pretty quickly like all the others after a intro post and a couple other posts. Just saying I have lurked the underground for many years without having an account, been buying from sources for a very long time and just recently created an account.
