Kids will do what kids will do. A shortage of influencers/good information didn’t stop me from making questionable decisions.

Maybe some of the kids on the fence about it wouldn’t get involved so early, but the determined ones are better off for it.

It sure beats brewing up random Raws off goggle in the bathroom, loaded on pills. I’ll say that much.

We need to give people all the tools to make the decisions they want. Good or bad, that’s on them. And I’m not a big fan of 18 being the hard line for accountability. Lots of “children” under that age are more grown than several people I met in my young adult years.
The only person they have to blame is themselves if something goes wrong. We’ve had the internet for decades now. Information is at our fingertips. Blame the schools for not teaching them how to read, research and reason, not Instagramers trying to make a buck.

Well, when I was in high school I didn’t know where it was but I still had textbooks to carry around.
Ah, if you mean textbooks that can be different. Some schools throw cheap Chromebooks at kids and instead of physical texts they get pdf's. Supposedly saves money until you realize they have to renew the license yearly instead of getting a decade out of a book.

This is quickly spinning out of control.

I made absolutely horrible decisions until late into my 20’s so idk where that limit is but I agree that personal responsibility is important and is left out a lot. I also wouldn’t change any of it. My mistakes made me who I am.

Parents are responsible for the development of their children, not the state.

The kids thing was brought up because these QSC haters come here and point to how people govern their lives as some kind of proof that QSC is the devil. Just today, kids having access to gear and how people spend their money have been examples.

Yes, I was referring to textbooks and kids having to learn how to learn.

It is just a pet peeve of mine and probably holds no merit.

If this ain’t the truth I don’t know what is. If you can’t your steroids/ancillaries without noticing the impact on your wallet, I really don’t think you should be taking steroids. Harsh, but I also think if you can’t afford a surprise $5K vet bill, you shouldn’t have a dog.

Sick of seeing gofundme’s for people’s animals.
100% anything discretionary, if you can’t afford to buy it twice, don’t buy it once. If you’re finding yourself in a financial bind over not getting your steroids you don’t have a hobby you have an addiction.

I used to write little notes in my school textbooks we had to return at the end of the year. Like turn to page 168 and then on 168 it would say turn to page 7 and I would keep doing that and eventually loop it back onto the first page where the note occurred.

i remember people adding dialogue to the illustrations. One was 2 romans in a pool one is holding his hand in the air, "my dick's this big"
the other roman "sure... sure"
