Yeah, it did fall apart. Their communication came from way up the political chain. They knew a tariff war was brewing, and customs logistics were about to get heavily scrutinized. It’s all business at the end of the day, and this was just another variable being moved around inside mainstream markets same as everything else.
Like you, when those promos started rolling out in October, I jumped on it quick. I took a hit financially for a couple months just to stock up—but I’m glad I did. I don’t think things are going to stabilize anytime soon. There’s just too much going on globally—it’s not just the U.S.

Simply not good business when you're the primary supplier of illegal drug precursors to the world, while at the same time routinely executing those in the drug business within China.
It may be satisfying to watch the children of your enemies suffer addiction and die en masse from the products you sell them, but it weakens your negotiating position on other, much more valuable trade issues. If drugs weren't part of the picture, it wouldn't be so easy to make the case for ending de minimus.
Unfortunately steroids get lumped in with illegal drugs, despite the non-existent harm compared to synthetic opioids, but it's almost certainly why they shut down raws manufacturers right after the US election.

If they are legitimately working through issues, I can't help but wonder if logistics is their sticking point. With the very advertised increased scrutiny of international shipments, I would wager a guess that the difficulty of finding a willing shipping partner may have increased exponentially, if they hadn't established those relationships prior. Planning for potential future contingencies may not have been exactly at the top of their to-do list during the golden era.
Of course that doesn't account for lack of communication, so my thoughts are more likely me just being overly optimistic, naive, and gullible.

I thought the warnings from Tracy and the others started in october? I don't think Shutting down steroid raws was a collateral of opioids IMO, They were cracking down on opioids as early as June/July.
When alarm bells were raised in Sept, weren't they dismissed as after effect of "olympics crackdown" that will soon blow away...
Anyway, if the trade war deepens, There's a probable positive scenario where china reduces restrictions on everything destined for the US market. Everything from copyrighted products like replica bags and watches, to chems like steroids and glps. "flood them and let them deal with it"

there is still a lot of activity attached to it. daily even. larger amounts fell off in february, but it is still active.
I Agree to some extent, steroids are in the crossfire for sure. But moreso than fentanyl (which is the scape goat), I believe novo Nordisk who markets ozempic killed Tracy to be honest.
Dont get me so hard this early in the morning
Should always come up with proof from this "someone" otherwise doubt.
