Question about steroid forums

Hi All--

New member here. I'm really enjoying the depth of content, experience, and expertise found in this forum.

There are a number of steroid forums out there, such as Meso (which is awesome) and Eroids (which made me glad I found this one). I was hoping to understand why some forums focus on certain sources to the exclusion of others. For instance, Meso has a great deal of discussion about Primal but not Kits4Less. And at Eroids, it's vice versa. Are most discussions about sources constrained to whether or not the source sponsors the source?

Thanks much.

I noticed this too, I think it just comes down to community preference.

Some forums seem to be more positive and members spend their time praising sources.

Other forums seem to be mostly complaints/new members asking dumb source questions and the regulars mocking them for being dumb.

Yes sources pay to advertise on forums. And the forums have preferences usually almost always due to money Incentive and, I really shouldn't even go down this road, but many long time veteran forum members are sources themselves and post in order to keep a presence and get to know people. Which brings us to an interesting point, it is generally unwise to patronize a source who private messages you and offers to sell gear to you. Many have been scammed over time using this method. So beware.

I think you’ll find this forum holds a much higher standard in this respect.

Eroids, as you mentioned, has a history of silencing or banning members for giving honest reviews, whether it’s about scamming, poor quality, under dosed products, or flat-out terrible customer service. If the feedback doesn’t fit the agenda or threatens the revenue that a source brings in, you’ll find yourself walking alone no matter how much proof you have. Most people will never see the truth.

Meso, on the other hand, will send a source packing if they get caught. The issue is that loyalists will sometimes jump in, usually hoping for a hookup the next time around. But if someone gets screwed over and brings solid proof, it’s goodbye. If you’re careless, the community will bury you across hundreds of pages going back and forth. The solid members here won’t hesitate to call things out. And to be fair, many sources are given a chance to redeem themselves, Primal is an excellent example. As @trtbuilder said, it can feel a bit “cult-like” at times.

What you choose to do with that information is up to you. Sometimes sources lie outright, and to me that shows they’re dishonest across the board they just haven’t been caught yet. Others will have something come up, ghost folks on active orders, then attempt reappearance later. However the folks harmed by shit business practice never get made whole. Read and you will see. Choose wisely.
