R.I.P. Chris Cornell

IMG_7881.JPG Figured I'd make a thread to say RIP Chris Cornell. I was in high school when the Seattle sound came around, so Soundgarden had a big impact on my music taste while growing up. He's once again in the ranks with Layne Staley and Kurt Cobain. I guess Eddie Vedder is the last front man from the big 4 from Seattle.

Badmotorfinger is still one of my favorite albums. I was also in high school during the grunge era. All these great musicians leaving us at such an early age. And they were just talking about a Temple of the Dog reunion very recently. Just horrible news.

I'm suspecting there is something more to this story than some guy just performing a great show and ending it an hour later.

Chris Cornell seemed pretty conscious though and for whatever reason he prob said his goodbyes to his family without them realizing it and played his final show without anyone realizing it at the time then went to his room and ended it. Kurt kinda did the same thing really.

Not many people could scream like Cornell.

Then 2 months later, on what would have been Chris Cornell's 53rd birthday, Chester Bennington does the same thing. Right in the middle of a tour too. Such a shame.
