Race to 500lb Deadlift

I can’t pull as much off blocks. I think I can get as much on a 3” deficit as a 3” block

It seems like with sumo any elevation puts you at an advantage, but with conventional it isn't always true. For me anyway. I haven't really trained conventional much lately until recently, but my PR from the floor is higher than I've done from blocks.
 
My conventional PR from blocks is 585lbs if I'm remembering correctly and my conventional PR from the floor is 600lbs. It's been awhile since I've trained either very heavy though. Sumo PR from 3" blocks is 730lbs and sumo PR from the floor is 700lbs.

To me sumo is easier from blocks and conventional feels more awkward off blocks.
