Don't forget slavery still exists to this day in Africa and the Middle east. Not to mention woman are treated like garbage and have no rights in those nations.

What you need to understand is that failure was baked into the Affordable Care Act by those who have absolutely no concern for you or your family, and that is congress, and the party that voted dozens of times to repeal it. The are the same one who sabotaged it.
At this point the government can't even negotiate what we are charged as the tax payer for healthcare. We can't negotiate the prices that medicare pays for prescription drugs, that is you and me.
This has been ugly, and the reason is is because the healthcare industry has spent hundreds of millions on lobbyists that have bought your government. You don't sound like a wealthy man. You seem to be someone who is like many people I know. You get up in the morning and put in a hard days work.
20 million people lose healthcare if the Republican party controls both houses of congress and the white house, but we spend trillions on defense. Who the hell are we defending? Not 20 million Americans. Not the working poor. Not the people that this country has left behind for one reason or another.
If the single payer provision had got through congress, your healthcare would be very affordable. ACA will not continue unless the right people run our government.
Something to consider is that every western country has either free or affordable healthcare. The reason we don't is because the vast majority of American do not want to educate themselves.

Absolutely there should be no slavery and lucky for us we live in a country that doesn't allow it. As far as reparations go or this so called white guilt. It's garbage. I've never owned slaves and nobody I've ever known has owned or has been slaves. I damn sure don't have a clear conscience for a lot of things I've done in my life but none of it has to do with me being white or slavery. It gets old hearing people ashamed to be white for shit they didn't do.

By the way Henry de Monfreid was a Frenchman that converted to Islam. He wrote several books about his adventures in the red sea. In one book he descibes in detail the procedure they used in making someone a eunuch.
