I'm sure that happened I'm obviously not as old as you because I grew up in a neighborhood where being white I was the minority and we all ate and hung out together.

The fact is its not like that now so for the generations from my age group to present there's no excuse not to succeed. The opportunity is there if you apply yourself and as you stated in your college experience sometimes they're given special privileges. There comes a point when you quit pointing fingers and look in the mirror and we are there.

What you need to understand is that failure was baked into the Affordable Care Act by those who have absolutely no concern for you or your family, and that is congress, and the party that voted dozens of times to repeal it. The are the same one who sabotaged it.

At this point the government can't even negotiate what we are charged as the tax payer for healthcare. We can't negotiate the prices that medicare pays for prescription drugs, that is you and me.

This has been ugly, and the reason is is because the healthcare industry has spent hundreds of millions on lobbyists that have bought your government. You don't sound like a wealthy man. You seem to be someone who is like many people I know. You get up in the morning and put in a hard days work.

20 million people lose healthcare if the Republican party controls both houses of congress and the white house, but we spend trillions on defense. Who the hell are we defending? Not 20 million Americans. Not the working poor. Not the people that this country has left behind for one reason or another.

If the single payer provision had got through congress, your healthcare would be very affordable. ACA will not continue unless the right people run our government.

Something to consider is that every western country has either free or affordable healthcare. The reason we don't is because the vast majority of American do not want to educate themselves.

I do ok, it's not putting me in the poorhouse. I don't mind paying a little more if it actually does some good. I just know that every dollar they get goes in some fatcats wallet or is wasted. Racism is real. I'm part Irish and I doubt anybody calls me names under their breath as I walk by but the same can't be said for a lot of black people in this country.

The way things are looking help is on the way. We are getting completely fucked by the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. I think a single prayer system may not be far off. That means your insurance may be much more affordable soon.

I'm paying over 2x as much as I was, but I know who to blame.
