Random, all in my head, or be concerned?

I talk to a shizo regulary man... I think hes nuts. Always wondered whats in his head.
My mental clarity after 9 years mary is quite good at overall thinking and making the right decisions.
The big hit is the memory.... at this rate I feel dementia at early age. Cant keep a thought in my head...

You may notice the memory effects because they're easy to recognize when you forget to do something, but there are plenty of studies that measure the cognitive deficits induced by long term regular use. The effects can be seen in terms of reduced white brain matter on an MRI, it's not even dependent on subjective measurements of cognition.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not sitting in judgement. everyone's got their vices, but for some reason the negative impacts of pot on health are largely ignored. Like the pendulum has swung so far in its acceptance that the overwhelming evidence of harm from excessive use is ignored.

It was the briefly decriminalized in the UK when I lived there, and suddenly the rate of "first break psychosis" cases showing up at hospitals shot up, and kept going up, so they restricted it again.

Personally I'd like to see the taxes collected on legal pot to be used to educate people. We have warning labels on alcohol and cigarettes, pot should as well, along with a help line for the people who end up with cannabis use disorder.

I take 1 single, tiny, minute little puff of herb every night when I finally sit down and relax for the day. I have a mini anxiety attack for about 30 minutes every single time that I have to work through and remind myself Im not having a heart attack. It’s likely the weed bro!

A lot of recent research confirms a 2 way relationship. People with anxiety (and other psychological disorders) use cannabis to self medicate, while long term cannabis use often worsens the condition.

Good afternoon My Meso bros, coming through with something a little random on this Saturday lol..... *** A couple FYI's..... I'm 40, about to be 41 and haven't run anything in about 4-5 years. I also tend to be a anxious/stressed out person (mom is like that, my work is a little hectic, random life shit lol) ***

Started a cycle of Sus (300mg a week) and have been on for about a month now. First 3 weeks, no issues (had noticed some more sweating, more intensity in the gym, not so much strength as of yet).

Ending of last week maybe, felt a little more rage-ish (in traffic especially lol)

That said, we start week 4 and smooth until this past Wednesday. Work was extremely hectic and I didn't eat (woke up 5-ish in the morning, had some coffee around maybe 1 or so but that was all). When I got home (still hadn't eaten), I smoked (roughly half of a blunt), and ate my lunch meal (chicken & rice), had a protein bar (usually one of my snacks), and some chips (POP sweet chili flavor).

Shortly after, heart was pounding POUNDING. After a while, it lessened but since that my Blood pressure & pulse rate have been elevated.

From the more seasoned guys who've run things over & over (truly experienced gear users whom have vast knowledge/experience/have done some reading/research), this sound more like anxiety is outta wack or truly a cardio/heart issue (obviously I will ultimately seek a professionals opinion, just curious/interested in your thoughts).

Thanks,

MiaRAGE.............
Doing roids and smoking weed. Sounds like a great idea buddy.

Anxiety runs in my family although luckily I don’t really get it too bad….have my moments. But smoking always induces it for about 30 minutes and I get paranoid Im having a heart attack. But its the best remedy for insomnia for me, even despite that shitty 30 minutes. It never used to bother me at all but with how potent the stuff is now I can’t find a way around it.

It's often said that pot is not physically addictive, but having first (and second) hand experience with it, there is one aspect I think does make it physically addictive.

Initially, it's a great sleep aid. Eventually, if you're using regularly and stop, sleep becomes very difficult and out of desperation you use again to overcome the insomnia experienced during withdrawal.

After a LOT of heavy use, the brain becomes so accustomed to continuous THC research had shown a decline in the ability to think after quitting.

Both of these things go away after a while and the brain (mostly) goes back to normal, but that can be from 2 weeks to a year depending on how often and how heavy the use was.

I think it goes past both points you've made. I smoked for 15+ years starting at a very young age. I was in 6th grade. Fast forward to 30 years old and heavy smoking(about an ounce a day shared with my wife.) Not smoking made me very irritable, frustrated and overall unable to think of anything else. Personally, I think there's more to the mental effects, and a withdrawal of sorts depending on how heavy use and how long the heavy use lasted. Quitting was very easy after starting test and the anxiety followed. Same with my wife after our second child.

Pretty sure it was just anxiety (not sure why such a drastic increase/reaction from the not eating all day & smoking) as I went to the MD a few days after my little episode (had planned on getting bloodwork at 6 weeks in - got them at 5 weeks in due to this).

Still waiting on bloods or at least they haven't posted them on their portal but I have my follow-up on the 9th of next month. Doc also scheduled me for an echo as a precaution.

Will definitely follow-up on here.

As an FYI (lol), the cycle continues (300mg SUS) and the blazing does as well (as mentioned originally, I'm normally a little anxious/stressed so yeah) and everythings been going smooth (did end up switching from Aromasin to Arimidex - felt a little tenderness in the left nip and it's been better). Cardio has been upped from 20 min to 30 min as well.

Gotta keep on keepin on..........................

Why do you smoke weed if you have problems with anxiety and panic attacks? It will only get worse
Because what happened here (this time) was rare..... Has it happened to this intensity, maybe a few times in my life - 3,4.

I feel it helps at times and it doesn't at times, kinda hit or miss (but definitely the hits outweigh the misses).

Right..... Some of the most iconic bodybuilders in the world (still alive) did it and were fine so I took my chances (plus taking 8,000 times less compounds but rolled the dice anyway).

Appreciate the concern "Ripped Daddy" (before you correct me on the name, don't.... Just thought it sounded better for you LOL)

Are you a big fat guy?
I am not a big fat guy (a little overweight, skinny fatish with some muscle)

Is that what you're into BigDadd? (LOL, kidding BTW.... couldn't help myself)

Irrelevant…

From my experience, it could depend on what strain you smoke. Some will relax and some will, well, spark anxiety or the like. I used to wake and bake. Never had anxiety or worry much. Once, I remember smoking some strong 70/30 kush (or something like that) and watching a street fight... made my heart pound through my chest and I passed out for 2 mins. After that I was always careful what, when and where I smoked. However, I havn't smoked at all since my first child... I always want to be sharp in case I'm needed. I don't miss it.

You'll be happy to hear that on average, even after decades of heavy use, lost brain volume is regained within 29 months after cessation. The exception are those who used heavily as teenagers, in which case a certain an amount of loss, about 8 IQ points worth on average, appears permanent.
