What up yall, if you recognize my name/profile pic. You’d know I’ve been going thru the ringer with health issues. Fun times.
Finally strong enough to hit the gym and do a few movements. Slowly getting better. After 3+ months

If anyone has any advice or other things I should be doing lmk.

This reactive hypoglycemia is a real pain.
Had a bad crash last night. Granted I binge ate carbs more than usual.

6’3 215 27yr old
I’ve switched to
high protein
higher fat
and lower glycemic lower carb diet
250/130/150-200

Supps- MV, Chromium pic, cinnamon, mag, fish oil, vitamin D, b complex, coq-10,
Fiber 3-4x day (depending on meals)
Creatine, glutamine, probiotic, digestive enzymes.

Trying to find a good middle ground to still push the gym/bodybuiliding esq training style.

Absolutely no cause of these issues yet either…

3 doctors now.

“Eat smaller meals, every couple of hours.
Have a protein bar on hand if you crash”

Nothing else. it’s great
One is my endo she’s run so many tests & they’ve all been fine
That's not very helpful of them. Solid advice, but doesn't really get to the core.

Don't do that again xD

What's up with supplementing glucose disposal agents & insulin sensitizers if you're dealing with symptoms of hypo?

How are you tracking blood glucose and what has it shown?

Might want to try a CGM and run the carb sensitivity experiments some apps offer. That would give you a clear sense of exactly which types of carbs would be least likely to cause issues,

IE, they have you eat 50g oats one day, then another ingredient a few days later, and logs the precise reaction to them.

Which ones specifically?

Dexcom CGM
every time I’d eat it would drop to 55 ish give or take. And that’s with meals with more than 20-30g carbs.

Yeah I had one for two weeks. Then my endo said well you have reactive hypo it seems.
Small meals every two hours.
And that was it.

Im going back on Thursday
For my adrenal cortisol Gh test results and what we should do next.

I’ll be asking for another

Well I definitely missed the glucose disposal part with cinnamon. And I’m taking an extract which I think is 1000mg. WHOOPS.

That could be making my symptoms worse

I’m just going to cease use on both. Lol

I'll fix your problem you can thank me later.

Use Reta enjoy stable BG again.
If not well worth a try I would say

That was the next course of action. Just need to verify Reta won’t effect my thyroid nodules

My right side is Benign but my left was inconclusive with a higher percent

Glps are very new to me. All I know is Sema can effect thyroid / tumors in thyroid. At least that’s what the medical paper said at my doctors office.

First of all dump the fucken chromium and the cinnamon… those 2 right there fuck with ur sugar and glucose… no idea why u use them is u have any sort or glycemic issues, i dont care what uve read… toss em out

Possibly glutamine as well…

I also have reactive hypo… and it blows goats but those 2 main items need to be gone… glutamine also made me feel less than great… sure good for the stomach… but what else??

What is MV? In ur supplements list?

Do u use hgh?

Have u tried keto, or carnivore?

Have u ever used metformin?

Carry oj with u, or drink it in the early morning… i feel fanfuckentastic thru most of the day if i get some oj in during the am… most who go hypo can drink oj and bring them outa the funk… or make them feel better until they get more simple sugars…

Id also carry honey packets around…

Honestly ive thought of tirza or reta for these reasons then pushing the gh… i also have reactive hypoglycemia…. And have always wondered if hgh alone or in conjunction with tirz or reta maybe very helpful…

Would any of yall say HGH low dose might help my insulin issues by keeping it slightly more elevated?

I just crash 15 mins after eating. And then all day long after I feel weak and out of it. Vision changes. Energy levels etc

can you outline how some of these meals you are eating looks that you are getting reactive hypoglycemia from? foods, amounts and so on.

JK on the HGH. Doctor wants to re test everything in 3 months.

I’ve eaten pretty much everything possible. Anything higher than 30-40 carbs I react.

5/6oz of protein & fats no carbs I’m okay.
I’ve switched to low glycemic carbs
Eating sub 200 carbs. Has helped some but, damn do I not want to eat like a rabbit

We’re changing my blood pressure med & AI. See if that helps in a few weeks
