Recovery

How many of you guys take a week off from training throughout the year? I'm finishing up a routine and need to take a week off from training. I feel a week off from training every two or three months is good for recovery and healing of the body of any potential injuries.
 
if you feel you've been legitimatly hitting it hard for a long time and you just feel kinda beat and worn down, then sure, take a week off. its good for you. just make sure its some all out binge dieting, excessive partying break. take a break from STRICTLY training, NOT diet and overall lifestyle.
 
I take one week off every 12 wks. It gives my joints a nice rest. It is great for my body, but i get very irritable/cranky without working out. I can't wait to get back into the gym after a week off.......for psychological reasons

I feel bad too when I miss working out. I haven't took a week off in nine months so I needed a well deserved rest. I start back Monday and I'm looking forward to it.
