Refillable injector pen

Normal pens are set up for U100 insulin, 100 units per ml. U40 is insulin for pets (with syringes matching standard dilution botox). Never heard of U60.

With U100 pens from Lilly and Chinese clones, 10 units is 0.1ml. One unit is 0.01ml. Cartridge holds 300 units (you lose the last 5 or so units due to dead space at cartridge throat)
Ok, something off then. I filled with 1 ml bac water then used different settings to back fill a 1 ml syringe. Needed it set to 16 units to hit 1/10th ml. Cripes, guess I keep messing with it a bit...probably put a full 3ml in the reservoir and try it . Appreciate the info though. I think once I have dialed in itll be nice and convenient.

Did you get the air out of the 3ml vial?

Is it the one you have a link to from Jan. 18? I don't see where is states 60 units per ml.
Might be my bad but only goes to 60 on the dial...seems to push the full ml at that though. Gonna try a full vial and see if its my f/u...wouldnt be the first time. Yeah, its the one in the link though.

I just checked my Lilly pen. It only goes to 60 as well.

Different pens allow for different step (0.5, 1, 2) and maximum number of units per injection. But you should be able to use at least 2.95 out of 3ml repeatedly dialing up the dose. You'll want to reconstitute in such a way so that you could inject it with a single dial setting. If the pen goes up to 42 per injection, you'll want to add BAC so that maximum you'll ever want to inject is 42

Was trying to figure out how many units was needed to hit 1/10th ml...wasnt worried about the actual number, just what was needed to hit 1 unit hgh reconstituted in 1 ml (1/10th per unit). Ill eventually sort it out.

1/10th of ml is 10 units on Lilly pens and clones
You need to purge the cartridge (manufacturer calls it priming) first by pointing needle up and dialing one unit at a time until the rod hits the stopper you get rid of all air (you see bac coming out of needle, small amount of air is ok). If you got lilly or owen mufford pen, it's in instructions in the box. Chinese clones don't come with instructions, they assume you know what you are doing. I only prime once, when I insert the new cartridge. Pen instructions call for purging every time.

How many iu's of gh is in the vial? If it's 10iu's of gh in the vial and you added 2ml(200 units) of bac water, 20 units will be 1iu of gh.

You can also salvage that last tiny bit out of the pen cartridge by using an insulin syringe.
