If you don't mind, can you please explain more about your experience with the indicators not changing with sterilizing? Did you have packaged cartridges with blue indicator that were supposed to turn black with steam(proposed situation as an example)? Or have you used ethylene oxide and the indicator didn't turn color?

The indicators do not change color. I am unsure of the suitability of the pouches for actual sterilization, but even if they do what they are supposed to, you won’t know because the indicators won’t change color.

Nice. Maybe others don't change because instapot can't achieve the temps and pressure required. Even still, if the inside of the cartridge isn't exposed to the saturated steam, it's not being sterilized, only the outside surface.

For those interested I use the Humapen Savvio. It is high quality and works great. You can find several vendors online out of Canada who don't require a script if you want to avoid AliExpress. Generic work but the quality on the Humapen is excellent. They get a premium for shipping. But 80.00 bucks or so all in. Buy once cry once. You'll have this thing for life.

No it works like any other, the end cap unscrews to expose the vial and screw on adapter for needles. Check your DM I sent you a video.
