rehab cycle: test, deca, albuterol, gh

The doc told me before surgery she would have me benching within six weeks after starting PT. I think I would have run away if she had said 5 months. I feel extremely lucky I didn't make it any worse. I tried every goofy trick I could find on the web to avoid going to the doc, and several of them did make things worse.

L4-S1 is three vertebrae right? I seem to injure that area pretty regular. It has always healed afterward, at least so far. I'm surprised it took longer with your shoulder than with the back fusion to get back in the gym. If I ever need surgery, though, I'm going to hit you up for the name of your surgeon!

L4 , through S1 is technically a 2 level fusion, its joining the L4, and L5, and then L5 to sacrum . yeah idk , back still aches prolly will for life, but seem to be working through it. first 2mo was hell. but with the shoulder your recovering real fast. like i said mine was tight for a long long time. but as far as longevity, it hasnt given me much of a issue since surg in 05 .

I guess back surgery has come a long way. I know a couple of guys who pretty much had their lives ruined by back surgeons in the 80's. Both went from being in pain but able to function before the surgery to being addicted to pain meds and unable to sit in a chair after the surgery. Haven't spoken to either in at least 10 years, though. They might be doing OK now.

I took a day off of PT Saturday. My shoulder had been feeling overworked and was staying sore all the time. This morning a lot of the soreness was gone, and I was able to get something resembling a chest workout in. I couldn't bench, of course, but I could at least do light work on the chest machine and a few cable and dumbbell exercises. That was literally the first chest workout since before surgery, and I got pretty excited. I made a spectacle of myself, I'm sure, grinning like a fool after pressing 25lb dumbbells for a whole 12 reps.

I added in 100mg anavar Friday. I don't know why, except that I have a ton of the stuff from Astro and no reason to save it. I plan to run it through the first week of June when I go on vacation. After that, I think I need to go back to an actual cruise/TRT level for 4-6 weeks or until I can bench normally again.

I think the var is causing some water retention. I'm up 6 lbs since Friday, and that on a calorie deficit. Going to get bloods to see what I've done to myself with all the aas switching around. I usually don't need an ai at 300mg test, but I don't know with the deca and eq and var thrown in. E2 could be off the chart for all I know. I took 0.25mg dex this morning, just in case.

There's a little over 4 weeks before vacation. Wanted to be back in shape before then, but it's not looking good. I'm either going to have to get more serious with the diet, or go back on the tren. Of course, going back on tren kills my appetite and I don't really have to diet. Decisions, decisions..

Var never really caused any water retention for me. But I added 100mgs of deca a week to my TRT and it took my E levels from 22pg/ml to 49pg/ml. Which I'm pretty estrogen sensitive so I started my Aro again.

I'm usually OK with E2 up in the 50's or even a little higher. I don't start bloating until it gets up in the 90's. But I'm not usually at 20% bf while on this much gear either. I think I'll keep taking 0.25mg dex eod until I get bloods back. That stuff always makes me nervous ever since I crashed my E2 while on Herc's bunk Test Cyp!

I wish I could go that high. I'd rather not take an AI at my try dose but as soon as I get in the 40's I hold water, get itchy nips and moody.

Yea I took adex and misread the recommended dosage and crashed my levels for about 2 weeks during my first cycle. KILLED my knees, I'm pretty cautious with it now to.

Pulled something in my back/side during squats Sunday, though not exactly while squatting. The rack isn’t bolted down like it should be, and sometimes I move it a little when I rack the bar. I grabbed it with one hand and tried to pull it back into place. When I did I got this ‘broken rib’ feeling I have had many times over the last few years. Never have figured out what it is, but what it means is no deads or rows or trail riding for several weeks, and then MAYBE it will get better.

The good news is my shoulder feels so much better I’m going to try some light bench press tomorrow. I’m able to do pushups now as long as I keep my nose a couple of inches off the mat. If the rib gets in the way of bench, I’m going to be pissed. Might end up asking the doc to check it out. It’s getting old having the same issue over and over.

Glad to see that you are recovering well from the surgery! I have a couple questions if you don't mind. Exactly what did you have repaired in your shoulder? Did your surgeon reattach the bicep tendon in a different location? I ask because I have a shoulder surgery scheduled for this summer. I have a badly torn labrum in my right shoulder. My surgeon wants to cut my bicep longhead and reattach it somewhere else. He claims that if he doesn't do that I will end up tearing the labrum again. I am not real keen on having my bicep reattached as there is nothing wrong with it, I like it where it is! I also plan on running GH and Test during recovery. Good luck Flenser!

I had 2 large labrum tears cleaned up, and the longhead bicep tendon was gone without a trace. Nothing to reattach. It has apparently been gone for a long time. The doc said it was fairly common, and that it wouldn't affect my strength.

The anchor thing they do when reattaching a tendon can take months to heal. Might be worth getting a second opinion at least. Good luck with it, and keep us updated on your progress.

I am not regretting what I spent on GH. The PT that stretched me on Monday told me everyone is baffled at my rapid progress. They have me doing week 12 exercises in week 4. I almost mentioned the GH, but recovered my sanity just in time.

Thanks Flenser! My longhead bicep tendon is still in place, just showing a lot of fraying, fibrous tendonitis. I believe I will get a second opinion. As for the GH, I wouldn't have the surgery without the GH for recovery. I made sure to get US pharm grade as well, don't want to take any chances with generics at this point. My wife is a PT so we have done all the rehab possible at this point with no success, time to get it fixed. I will keep you posted. Again, glad to see that your rehab is going so well. Very encouraging. Thanks for posting this information.

I'll definitely be following your posts. My other shoulder is probably next, and there's no telling what the longhead tendon in there looks like :D

OK, my tren addiction got the better of me. Deca is out, tren is in. I'm also out of T3, and TBH I'm not going to miss the low grade headache one bit.

The hopefully improved dosage is: 250mg test e and tren e ew, 75mg tren a eod for the next 2 weeks. 40mg var 2x ed. 40mg albuterol 2x ed for 2 more weeks, and 6iu genotropin ed.

Tried benching this morning with bad results. I still can't lift the empty bar off my chest without pain. I can bench a whole 95lbs if I stay 2 inches off my chest, but even that was painful. I was still able to use the chest machine with low weight, and do strict DB presses with 25lbs. So my chest day was a little depressing. I was really expecting more.

Where is your hand placement when you bench press now? I tore my Pec last year and when I came back from that injury I had to move my hands all the way in. I basically do a close grip bench all the time now (shoulder width, elbows tucked to my side) and my strength has returned to about 80% of where it was before the pec tear( and my triceps have blown up). I experience a lot less stress on the shoulders now too, should have moved to a close grip years ago, might have saved my shoulders too! Don't let this workout get you down. I couldn't touch my chest for two months after my pec tear. With your motivation level you will be back in no time.

I tried several hand positions. I actually prefer the close grip bench, but the least painful position is a little wider than that now. Elbows have to be tucked to get the bar anywhere close to my chest, and I have to use a false grip so I can turn my hands in slightly. I can do this with the 12lb bar I have at home, but not the regular 45lb bar.

I'm not as discouraged as my last post probably seemed. I know I'm doing better than anyone but me expected, but it was sort of a bummer to have to roll the bar down my legs to get off the bench - 3 times :D

I'm sure in another week I will at least be benching the bar. Now that I think of it, I wonder if I could do it with boards or even from the floor. I may have to try that Friday.

How high are you planning on going with your growth to aid in the healing? Also did you figure out how to reduce the loss when preparing your growth?

6iu in the morning. I don't plan to go higher, but I am considering some peptides in the evening (100mcg GHRP2 and Mod GRF 1-29). I read that some try to boost the effect of a lower dose GH by injecting them together, but the 6iu in the morning are working so well I don't want to screw with it. I doubt the peptides will do much, anyway, but they are super cheap.

I forget where I read it, but I started leaving a small bubble in the syringe to get rid of the losses. It's subq after all, and a tiny amount of air. So far it works perfectly.

Hey flenser have you ever looked into tb-500 (Thymosin Beta-4)

I tried it once before, and didn't have much success. There's a thread on it somewhere in the cycle log forum. Either I'm a non responder, of the stuff was bunk. I got a rash injecting a few times, so it probably was bunk. I sort of lost interest in it after that.

Yea I do that aswell with leaving a small amount of air in the plunger. It certainly won't kill anyone subq lol.

6iu is a very good dosage of pharm GH. You should get incredible results with that pinning ED. Healed in no time!
