rehab cycle: test, deca, albuterol, gh

Flenser, I just spent some time in the joint and tendon sticky... informative to say the least. I was about 5 weeks into my cycle when the injury occurred. I made the decision to stay on cycle since I only do one cycle a year now and planned on a HPT restart at the conclusion of this cycle.

Hind site, I should've came off after the injury. I do think the AAS may have slowed my healing process a little. But atleast now being on cycle is helping me regain my size and strength.

My situation was pretty similar, except I started a cycle off of TRT knowing there was already something wrong with the shoulder. Looking back, I don't have a single lift with more weight than I was doing before I started that cycle. I'm 3 weeks from the end of my current cycle, though, and can't stand the thought of stopping early and missing the best part of the gains! I tried to explain this to my gf, and she just walked away muttering something about brain damage.

That's too funny .... They'll never understand. As I'm in my final weeks I switched to Test Prop (I've never done this before). I'm loving the feeling so much I don't think I'll ever go back to any other form of Test. The wife has been asking why am I so aggressive as of late, I just blame it on working with A holes for 10 hours per day.

I just told her how lucky I feel having a woman who's smarter than me. I'm good for the rest of the cycle now..

I decided to try using the Smith machine to do inclined press this morning. I was able to tweak the angle and position until I could go heavy without hurting my shoulder. That's the good news, that bad news is how weak my chest is! I'm not even going to post how little weight I maxed out on, heh. Hopefully I will get some of it back faster than it took the first time.

The rib issue is still holding me back on deads. I was doing sets of 12 at 315 this morning. Tried to go to 365, and the rib bit me on the first rep. Treating it to ice and compression ATM. I don't know why I even care. One set of 12 at 315 drains me far more than anything I ever did going heavy.

Dont hurt yourself going too heavy on deads , thats what got me . I was doing fine with 75% of my 1RM but as I go heavier here comes the injuries (bicep/elbow tie-in) .I have a love/hate relationship with the deadlifts.....[}:)]

Ha, I was just reading your HST thread and thinking about my sore elbow. It's always sore after deads. You're right about going too heavy on them. I think there's some cumulative degeneration on my lower back, too. It seems like it's a lot easier to tweak anymore, and it takes a whole lot longer to heal.

pushups... I haven't been able to do even one since before surgery. In PT I've been doing "wall pushups", and recently moved to "chair pushups". At PT this morning I managed 3 sets of 20 floor pushups, and not a hint of shoulder pain. I tried to talk the PT into sitting on my back for a set, but she wouldn't go for it.

I'm hoping pain free pushups means pain free bench press. Going to find out on Wednesday.

Chest work this morning sucked. I don't know why, but my shoulder didn't like anything I tried to do. Bench, Smith machine, DB presses and a couple of different chest machines all made my shoulder hurt with any weight at all. I've been working it pretty hard. Maybe it's time to lighten up for a while.

One of the trainers at my gym has offered to help me finish the rehab a couple of days a week. There's a long list of people he's worked with after an injury, and everyone I've talked to say he knows what he's doing. I will probably take him up on it as soon as they cut me loose in PT. He's going to charge the same as my copay, so money wise it will be the same as I'm paying now.

Have been out of the gym for a few days. There's this monster deck on the back of my GFs house, and it's rotted and full of ants. I finally got cornered into doing something about it. On top of spending every free minute working on replacing it, I forgot sunscreen the first day and got fried. My next PT is Wednesday, and I probably won't try to lift until after that. Too bad melatonin2 doesn't work retroactively.

The deck work has been hard on my shoulder. There's nothing really strenuous involved, but I keep forgetting I'm injured and doing things I shouldn't. The worst was trying to toss a short 2X4 into the dumpster with my left hand from about 20' away. Anyway, I'm taking a break today to recover some. It's time for some unhealthy summer food and beer...

After putting a million screws into the deck my hands are burned and swollen. They look like they should be on an obese teenager. I was thinking I might hit the gym this morning for a light workout until I saw my hands. Both my shoulders and my lower back are stiff as well, so it's probably a good thing I'm holding off until after PT.

I ended the anavar last Friday and will get bloods this Friday to check E2. Hopefully it has dropped a little from that last test, heh.

I'm currently taking 250mg test/tren e ew, .25mg adex eod, 6iu Genotropin mornings, 100mcg GHRP2/Mod GGF 1-29 evenings, and 25mcg T3 ed. The T3 keeps me awake after taking the GH, but anymore than the 25mcg gives me a headache, and I'm done with that headache!

At PT this morning they added some new cable exercises for triceps and rear delt tendons. I had been complaining there was still soreness in that area, so they decided to make it REALLY sore. I guess I'm not getting released this week after all. Sitting at work now icing my shoulder for the third time this morning <sigh>

Switching my T3 to T4 as soon as it arrives. I tried to get some from Aurapharm, but they are back to not taking my CC. GWP has it in liquid, though. Hopefully it's legit.

I've bought t4 from GWP a few times and felt it was good..

Definitely the way to go with t4, you still get the t3 conversion but not the t3 sides..

JB, I had about decided the headache I get from T3 isn't worth the benefits of taking the stuff. If that goes away with T4, I'm definitely a convert.

Hope you get that rotator cuff right Flenser, I know its a bitch.....PT-PT & more PT !! ;)

At least PT is enjoyable. When I went for knee rehab a few years, er maybe a decade, ago I was bored to death. All the PTs and other patients were older than me!

Are you saying you've got a cute lil' split-tail helping you ? Makes PT go by better.....lol . :D

Both hands are still a little swollen and numb feeling after the weekend deck work. I'm thinking it might be partly due to the GH and carpel tunnel irritation. I cut the GH and GHRP2 combo in half starting this morning to see if that helps.

The shoulder is doing much better since I took a few days off. I was able to get a pretty good chest workout this morning doing several sets of 20+ reps of flat bench, inclined bench, DB presses and a chest machine. I paused at the bottom on everything, and concentrated on squeezing my elbows together on the lift. I only got a few minor shoulder complaints the whole time.
