Have you thought about cycling the carbs? 250 grams of carbs from Jasmin rice and oats on the high day will renew and refresh your efforts for the lower days. All that matters is the overall calorie count.

For example, a very simply 3 day cycle, 250, 125, 0, 250, 125, 0 has the same calories as 125 each day, but that 250 day feels great when you eat breakfast in the morning with a big bowl of oatmeal . . . you get the idea. For me, it helps me to suffer through the low days, looking forward to the high day.

You can structure one way more complicated than that. It was just an example.

You have been on restricted low carbs for a long time, if I recall correctly. Consider if maybe it is time to take a break for a bit, give yourself some carbs to swell those muscles up for a few weeks? I am not saying go crazy. Keep it clean. Oats, potatoes, sweet potatoes, jasmine rice. Maybe a week or two of 250 a week (still not a lot, that is only 1000 calories from carbs), and you might see your body respond and the amount of resistance needed progress.

Is there a benefit of cycle carbs vs just keeping them the same every day??

I have been on zero carbs practically since Aug, with a small break around thanksgiving and then I ended around Christmas.
I was gonna do cereal carbs before, but since I decided against insulin, decided against that. So I was thinking of plain groundbeef (like 94 6, lean) and potatoes, simple to make and I can take that to work with me.
I found what worked for me on the cut, because it was easy to stick to, now I need to find that for the bulk.
Ive never really done a “proper” bulk, in the sense of nutrition, thats always what I lacked in. Everyone here keeps saying if I get that locked in, its where Ill see the most progress . I was half thinking of hiring a coach to do proper nutrition for me, see what difference it actually makes.
 
There is no benefit to cycling as in faster cutting or anything like that. It just makes things mentally easier for some because of the high days. Fat loss is pretty much the same. The body responds to the high days, too, more carbs = better performance in the gym, but the super low days suck. LOL

And no, I was not saying you need to transition to barbells, just that we can't tell if your weights on the machines are a lot or a little without having used the exact same machine. Even then it does not matter. You have been training long enough to know if the weights are appropriate for you right now at this stage. It would be kind of silly for any of us here in the peanut gallery to comment, unless we just wanted to mess with you. Pussy weights. I was doing those same weights when I was twelve. As does my 13 year old daughter.

Funny I mentioned our cactus the other day. Today I get informed it has bloomed and has flowers for the first time that we have ever seen. I never even saw it have flowers under my gramma.

Probs you know, but I had a look and this is called Christmas cactus.
Apparently, it is supposed to flower in winter, so this would be the right time.
I reckon it never bloomed before because it did not have the right conditions to do so.
But if, from now on, it is kept in the best way to facilitate flowering, then it will do it every year.

You and your plant kind of bloomed within a similar time frame.
It's like it waited for you to get there...

Dark Shadows, a fantastic movie,
The casting in my opinion was great, with Johnny Depp, Helen Bonham Carter, Michelle Pfeiffer, etc. I really liked the atmosphere for the movie as well.For whatever reason Burton went the comedy route with the movie when the 1960s and 1991 series were not comedies. I believe it was David Selby in an interview who put it in so many words that he wasn’t a huge fan of the movie, and I assume the rest of the originals that were alive when it came out thought the same.

It is def a type shiii day…

Total calories 2,580
284 protain
168 Carbs

So essentially I can feel this out, and if I double the potatoes it would add 880 more calories with another 150 carbs so I would be at 318.

All air fryer, its actually really good because the fat from the meat drops to the bottom making the ground beef really good. (Because the lil grate holds stuff above the bottom, whatever its called)
I put soy sauce, paprika, lemon pepper, ground black pepper and garlic powder on it. So the beef has a little zing to it, I really like it.

Ill have to see on calories, adjust as I go.
Im guesstimating I was around 4k not counting calories and that has held me at 214 (weighed myself just last night)
So I foresee alot of carbs in my future, lol.

100% of people serious in fitness sticks to their diet. takes 2min to weigh, gets 5000% better results. you're basically cheating yourself out of years worth of effort getting less results if you arent sticking to the diet especially when we're on grams and grams and grams of gear
