REQUEST A WORKOUT @ MESO

I don't know how you guys can only do an hour in the gym. 2 hrs has always been my length. If I pick up the pace I can do 1.5 hrs or a little less but I would still fill in some cardio for conditioning.

I do 1 hour, max 1.30 hrs.
I hate cardio, So I do it on my rest days, I feel wrecked after a good 1-1.30 hrs of pounding heavy weight :)
Probably I could do better... who knows.

I have to say, I did grow more on 3x days sometime then 5x days a week.

It all depends from many factor.

It's true, I think less can definitely equal more sometimes. Overall though, I never feel like I've given a training session all I have in one hour. But I always train multiple muscle groups in one session too. I have done one muscle group per week before which was OK but I just don't see progress fast enough. About an hour into my session is when I feel I'm just hitting my stride. I sometimes spend up to 45 min on my primary lift and then the rest is accessories with more of a hypertrophy focus

I have to tell you that I was feeling the same, like I was just starting to be warmed up and my layouyt was brining me at the end of my gym day.
So Instead of increasing the exercises I just increased the intensity.
I find it better and gives me more time to do other stuff in my free time.

It works for me at the moment, I prefer to HIT one muscle 2times a week but not for too long on any session. Like chest 2x and back 2x with arms/shoulders once a week.

training is the most difficult part for me... I have understood nutrition ok, gear as well, shit the training is driving me mad :)

I don't know for sure but I really believe that there is no real wrong way. There are less than ideal ways to weight train but overall... Hard work equals great results. Sometimes I think I need to rethink things but I'm just impatient with everything... Need to be strongest, fastest, biggest ASAP. But you have to dial it back and ask yourself if you're busting your ass? If so, you will always see good results. It may go one way or another sometimes but the principal usually remains the same that hard work pays off.

I agree with you completely.
That's why sometime when I find myself thinking to much and not doing as much as I can, I just slap myself in the face and say: fuck this shit! go and lift heavy shit as much as you can and with the best form you can, do it till you almost cry and be happy :D

Switching up my routines next week. Over the weekend I'm searching for movements to replace;

Overhead press

Military Press

Hammer raise

Basically shoulders/delts

Thanks

I usually finish in 35-40 min not even trying to and that's usually 20+ sets.
