Reta experience so far (8 weeks in)

Not really a question, but a statement. I started 8 weeks ago. Started on a very low .5mg dose for 2 weeks the 1mg for 4weeks and this is my second week taking 1.5mg. My eating habits have completely changed (as to be expected). I’ve mainly been eating Whole Foods with very little added sugar cravings. Unfortunately I have a sweet tooth and it rears its ugly head on and around my period. Anyways I’m down 13 pounds. Which isn’t bad at all but I know if I can stay consistent with my step count and fitness, I’ll see an exponential increase in the weight loss so wish me luck. But so far, I’ve had a very pleasant experience on Reta. Definitely taking it slow but happy considering weight loss has never been easy for me. So yay!

Congrats! Make sure you get your protein. Mistake I made on my GLPs just being not hungry at all
Im definitely prioritizing protein and fiber with every meal! I want to make sure that the deficit isn’t too much so when I slowly get out of using Reta I don’t go back to inhaling anything and everything in my sight.

Great to hear! People that are actually patient and take the time to slowly up the dose ever 4 weeks or so like god forbid the drug scientist actually recommend tend to do the best. :)
