Retatrutide dosage

I was wondering if anyone that has had experience using Retatrutide could help me out with dosage. I'm not familiar with peptides and need some help on dosage.

If I get a 5ml vial, how much BAC water would I need to mix with Retatrutide if I wanted to inject 5ml a week? And how long would a 5ml vial last if injecting 5ml a week?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

5ml vial, wanting to inject 5ml a week, would need to fill the vial with 5ml of water, and 1 vial would last for 1 week (1 shot) if injecting 5ml per week.

5mg vial?? If that’s what you mean, you shouldn’t just start with 5mg a week.

5mg vial... Add 1ml of bac water. Each 0.10ml will equal 0.5mg.

Your starting dose should be 2mg. Run that until your body adjusts... Minimum two weeks. Form there, some people increase the dose by 1mg a week. I doubled it.

I went 2mg to 4mg to 8mg to 10mg.... two weeks at each dose. The jump from 4mg to 8mg was HELL. 10mg is far too effective and I just reduced to 6mg. I had to in order to hit my cutting macros.

Listen to your body. Download a peptide calculator.

Hope that helps.

You're right. I read it wrong, the vial is 5mg, not 5ml!
divide the mg amount of the vial by the ml amount of bac water you place in the vial to get the concentration.

for example.

1 vial 5mg reta trutide

+

5ml bac water

= 1 vial of 1mg/ml retatrutide solution. 5ml and 5mg total.

this was just an example to illustrate.

personally, if i wanted to take a low dose of reta, I would put 2ml of bac water into a 5mg vial to make a concentration of 2.5mg/ml

that way I could draw out 0.2ml or 20units of solution to get 0.5mg of reta, or 0.4ml of solution to get 1.0 mg of reta.

also, i have read a lot about reta (despite not having taken it myself), and it seems 5mg might be a large starting dose. I think the company that is actively making and trialing retatrutide starts subjects off at 2mg (bolus), and I have routinely seen people mention starting at 2 mg a week split into two 1mg doses on different days.

I looked up a peptide calculator. If I have a 5mg vial of reta and add 1ml of bac water the concentration would be 5mg/ml. And if I do a dosage of .5mg twice a week, I'll have roughly 10 dosages, correct?
yes!

although personally I like to make the solutions a bit thinner just to decrease the (perceived) margin of error. So I would use 2ml of bac water and draw up 0.2 for a 0.5mg dose

Ok thank you very much.

If you were to use a 10mg vial, would you add 5.0ml of bac water for a concentration of 2mg.?
no, i usually only dilute to 1/2 the labeled dose per ml. so id still put 2ml of water in the 10mg vial, but just draw up 0.1ml for 0.5mg.

personally, I find the 0.1ml and under stuff to be inconsistent and difficult to manage,so I try my best to have a minimum of 0.2ml draws

for a 10mg vial, add 1 ml of water, as long as your insulin syringe is 1 ml in size, then every unit on the syringe is 1mg.

My personal reta journey dosing went like this:

Beginning .5mg mon/thurs
2nd month .5mg mon/wed/fri
3rd month 1mg mon/wed/fri
4th month 1.5mg mon/wed/fri
5th month 2mg mon/wed/fri

I'm down 66lbs and the leanest I've been since high school. Got 4 more lbs to go before I reverse into a bulk. I did this all with 1 100mg kit of Reta, have one vial left. If your diet, cardio and training are dialed in, results will be outstanding!
