Look fellas, February was a disaster. Most of my regs know that I have been struggling to stay “small” but that is very difficult to do in this business once your name gets out. I tried placing daily caps on orders and that turned into orders backing up 3-4 days. Processing got overwhelmed and wasn’t able to handle the volume. Unfortunately for all of us they were not communicating the exact nature and depth of their situation. And why would they, I would have fired them (which I did!) So, while hiring and training new processors I needed to make an emergency move of the lab, then had a shipment of stoppers get lost as well as have raws get stuck in limbo all the while trying to figure out and fix what the previous processors were (or weren’t) doing. And of course with all of this going on my eroids subscription lapsed. Now I am sure most of you can understand why with this Perfect Storm going on my eroids subscription wasn’t a great priority. I am currently shut down (again) to try and reconfigure a system that will work for all of us (short of going private) I have not ironed out all of the details as of yet but what I can tell you is that due to the growth factor the 3-4 day shipping is a thing of the past (sorry!), I will be getting rid of most of the blends (too time consuming) and also trackers can no longer be had through no control of my own. As far as complaints, trolls, haters etc… It goes with the territory. I know there are some legitimate complaints to be had, this is an imperfect business and believe me know one feels the sting of my current shortcomings more than me but it’s a shame when they got lost in the sea of drama filled scammers and haters and I WILL NOT BE PUNKED BY THOSE OF YOU WHO “THINK” YOU HAVE GAME! *Shipping issues – I own it! Without a doubt a dropped the ball in this arena and I am working diligently trying to correct it. *Improper crimps- yes, I’ve been guilty of rushing to try and keep up but am working on designing a system where I am not feeling as much pressure. *Underfilled vials – May happen from time to time but for the most part those complaints come from rookies who believe you will get 10 pins from 10ml. *Underdosed – NEVER! I brew batches 100’s of vials at a time and sell 1000’s per month but yet the the only complaints are the 8? 10? 12? guys here on eroids? Where are the 100’s of others from here and the other sites I’m on? *Contaminated – Well “speckboy” from a cpl months ago was proven non legit from a fellow eroids member and dude claiming cellulitis was recently pulled up by fellow eroids members. I am not saying there hasn’t been a handful of legitimate cases but that will happen from time to time (with UGL) and 99% of the time simply needs to be refiltered. If you are not savvy enough to refilter your gear (or at least willing to learn how) then it is questionable whether or not you should be dabbling in UGL gear (same goes for handling crashed gear) Eroids is a great board but it does lend itself to a high rate of bullshit. Because it is by and large an amateur board (which is GREAT!) it is wide open for nervous, undereducated noobies who are very susceptible to mass hysteria and as a FREE ($$) board it will attract a higher volume of scammers, trolls and haters who take great pleasure (in their small little worlds) in kicking up dust (and getting the younger guys panicked) than the Pro boards (which charge a fee for membership). Again, it comes with the territory so my advice is simply this – If you are the least bit apprehensive in selecting a src because a few ppl are feeding each others ego’s in a bashing frenzy then seek out another src. In the mean time let the trolls troll and the haters hate! With a little luck they have helped thin the herds to a managable level so I may serve my core community with more efficiency Thank you to all of my regs and a special thanks to all that have remained patient while I fix the February clusterfuck! -ROXI**
(...and like I've said before I am a busy guy and really do not have the time to run over here and put out fires every time trolls act up (and they know it, that why they like swimming in my pond) so just use your own judgement and if you are the least bit skeptical there are plenty of SRC's to be had. DOESN'T HURT MY FEELINGS AT ALL! (LOL!)
