Ruckin's 4th blast: chasing a 600 squat

I mean for my standards, I kinda do have abs right now lol, but I'm definitely not on your or Rob's level yet. I'll post up a pic if I remember after I wake up tomorrow morning, but I'm very happy with how I look. Pants that I couldn't even squeeze on a few weeks ago are loose on me now and I already need a new belt. Which kinda sucks cause I hate spending money on shit like that lol

Yeah I think you're right. That, plus once I'm back in peak rugby shape and only need to do conditioning once a week to maintain it, I'll be able to recover from squats more too. I'm still expecting to get 600 by the end of this year while still being in tip top rugby shape. I don't ever want to get that out of shape again lol.
 
I hit 440x3 in sleeves on Sunday at around RPE 9 or 9.5. Not sure where I'll end up this year. 600 high bar, no belt would be incredible.
 
Switched to doubles on my power cleans for the next 3 weeks and got 265x2x2 yesterday. Super happy with that since it means 275 shouldn't be a problem if I wanted to try it. I'll just keep adding a couple pounds per week like I've been doing. Nothing too exciting going on right now.
 
I got another little 1 lb pr today of 266x2x2 on my power clean. I felt pretty tired going in too, so I'm really happy with that. Pants are still getting looser and I'm not looking forward to buying a new belt lol.

Got another small power clean PR yesterday. 267x2x2.

Only 10 days left of this super boring cut/blast. I hate not packing on size and strength lol but getting lean is definitely nice too. I'm especially happy with how much my speed has improved. I got compliments on my speed for the first time in my life at practice the other day, so that was pretty cool lol.

I don't have a scale but I was only 248 in the gym last night fully dressed. So I must be low 240s first thing in the morning nowadays. Haven't been this light in 2 years, but I feel good.


So I'm thinking about my next blast and I'm liking the idea of slow bulking on just test at 750-900mg per week. I may throw some tren in there too to recomp but I'll have to see if I can afford some when that time gets closer. Thoughts anyone?
 
Sounds good to me. I want to try a higher test only cycle myself at some point, like an even gram to see what that's about. Then maybe finish with tren for the recomp like you said.

yeah the mythical gram of test is very tempting lol. I want to see how I do on 750 first though, cause I have a feeling the supplements I've always used before are underdosed compared to my new supplement company's stuff. But we shall see. I have high hopes!

I hope I don't need one. I still have the ancillaries on hand that I bought before my first cycle. Haven't touched them yet and I hope to keep it that way. That shit's expensive lol. If I ever start getting gyno from higher test doses I'll just immediately go to plan B, which is lower the test dose and replace that amount with eq. I want this lifestyle to get me the most results possible while keeping costs minimal. Not trying to spend a fortune on this stuff lol
 
Just got another small power clean PR of 268x2x2. I'm pumped about that since yesterday I hiked all day and only ate probably 3000 calories at most. Form was perfect too.

I also started clen this week. Just taking it til Saturday or Sunday to finish this cut off strong. Only 5 more days!

The crazy thing is some people bulk on 3000 calories. Congrats on the PR, by the way.
 
Thanks! Yeah it's crazy how that works lol. I do a lot of cardio though so if all I did was lift I'd need way less. I probably spend 3-4x as much time doing cardio and playing rugby as I do lifting.
