How are you making running enjoyable? I find it so boring that it is hard to maintain it, although I know it is very good for my health. Especially running in nature and getting fresh air from it. Any tips that worked for you?

I personally just do it, even when I don’t want to.
But I learned to slow down and not worry about pace and I like to listen to audio books and podcast for entertainment, or it’s a way I digest my thoughts and emotions. Run clubs are an awesome way to help as well running with people definitely makes it go faster and suck less!

There is a run club in the area I live that run during times that I am free. But have a requirement of 10K in 45 minutes or less to join. I am not that good and find it too boring to get good.

That sucks
Ours is definitely more enclusive and has a wide variety of runners!
Some of these big cities ones are huge and lots of young people! I usually run at 5am with my dog!

Hello anyone have like actual benefits of 15k steps daily? Currently following this powerlifter huntpowerlifting and swears on the great benefits of 15k steps daily.

Will 15k steps is really helpful or would like zone 2 30-60min daily better?

If you can do that amount of cardio a day you don’t need to worry about steps , especially if you bike a bit for some cardio, it’s not steps but you are still doing cardio.

How many steps do you get in 60 minutes of Z2 cardio? It's gotta be up there.

I like Z2 for breathing heavy for more than a few minutes, and Z2/3 for sweating if it's not cold outside. Think there might be some benefits to those. Or maybe just feelz & sleep quality.

Old thread but I'm pissed. Pulled my left hammy on my morning run, just cruising speed. Of course it's leg day plus I'm on cycle. Puts a halt on my progress for now. Stupid ass legs.

Cool a running thread. Where my running comrades at who use Strava to log distance and times?

Here's my best time from this morning. Honestly, at my age, I don't think I'll be beating 7 miles in 48 minutes. This was pretty damn fast for me. I know guys who weigh less than me can run much faster, but I like having some size, and still being able to run well.

I have a few trails that are 6 miles each and I usually make it home in about an hour

I use nothing to track distance and times

Raw dog, no headphones or music or anything

I started running in March and ran my first half marathon on Thanksgiving and I am hooked now. Started on a cycle, 400 Test C/300 Bold C, never run boldenone before, and shin pumps are destroying my ability to run. Went from 5 miles being fun and easy to 2.5 miles being painful and sucky. Basically seems like an acute compartment syndrome that goes away within 10-15 minutes after stopping.

Tried taking 8g taurine before my runs on Sunday and Monday and it definitely helped but still not enough. 12g taurine before incline treadmill walking this morning, and I'm pretty sure if I went harder it would have sucked. Gonna try 12g before my run on Thursday and warm up with a 15 minute walk and see if that does the trick but I'm not feeling very confident.

Was never into cardio on previous cycles so none of my experience from them matters. I think at least some of this is coming from water retention on the Test, which is pretty substantial - I gained 15 pounds in 2 weeks (at least some of this is from my E2 blowing up though). So if taurine doesn't do the trick on Thursday I'm gonna consider changing the cycle. I picked boldenone for the cardio ability I heard it gives. I'm thinking something like 250mg Test/400mg Bold? Smaller overall androgen load and Bold is supposed to hold less water. But for all I know its the Bold causing the pumps. Waiting on my E2 blood panel right now but given how much aromasin I'm taking, I'm pretty sure I am in the category of folks for who Bold does not crash E2, and if the 250/400 ratio does turn out to crash my E2 then I got HCG/Dbol on hand and could order some E2 cyp.

That cycle is not gonna help with endurance per se. That’s most likely gonna bloat you and cause you to gain too much weight. You want to be as light and efficient as possible if you really want to boost your aerobic capacity. You need to drop down to TRT levels.

I’m a 2:50 marathoner. My go to during marathon prep is 120mg Test C, 40mg Bold Cyp, and 1.5 IU HGH 5 days a week. Can add 10-15mg tbol per day in last 8 weeks but if prone to shin pumps probably best to avoid.

Mostly just trying to maintain my ability to run on this cycle, not improve it. Main goal is gainz. My run this morning was the worst yet though. Barely made it 3/4 of a mile before I had to start walking, and I upped it to 15g taurine. So the taurine is not gonna do it. If it turns out there's no sweet spot where I have killer gainz and can still run on boldenone, guess I'll just stick with cross-training cardio this cycle. I had already changed to 250T/400B a few days ago but maybe I'll go down to 200T/400B (200T was where my TRT was at) and that will actually tell me how much the boldenone is impacting my ability to run.

Definitely will keep your cycle in mind when I do my next running training block.

You're taking 700mg/wk and expecting to run a marathon. It's just a terrible combination. Your estrogen is most likely sky high with that quick weight gain.

I ran 600mg test, and 400mg eq while running a lot back when i was younger. Gained 15 pounds very slowly by the end. I was running 50+ miles per week before, and through most of the cycle. I kept all my cardio ability to start. After slowing down miles, it was very hard to jump back in into it later on though.

You need to get estrogen tested, and make sure you keep running. Running on grass in the park helps a lot with shin pumps. Changing dosage constantly will cause more confusion. I would suggest closer to 200/200 would work better. You'll still get bigger, and be able to run much easier than a high dose. Like GDubb said. Low dose for running if you're looking for times. Weight gain is a huge hindrance.
