Ryan "BenchMonster" Kennelly DVD and video preview

admin,

I think it's pretty important that I review one of these DVDs since I'm powerlifting mod around here. :-)

Ryan is a friend of mine and I can tell you he put his entire heart into this thing. Ryan holds nothing back in this video; You get to see his entire workout so you can get a top pro's insight into how to train for competitions. Once you purchase this video you'll quickly see that it is definitly worth the money! And man, talk about Inspirational. As soon as you watch I guarantee that you'll immediatly want to break down the door to your gym and train! This is not some instructional video created and hyped just so some body builder can make a few sales. This is a gritty and truthful look into Ryan's everyday training life. Be with him in the gym while he's gearing up for the number one bench competition in the world. The Arnold Classic.

After you get your hands on this DVD you'll see first hand the amount of pain, sweat and blood that must be sacraficed to be the best. See for yourself what it takes to be a champion.

Watch him rep out 405 for 20 reps like it's nothing... Watch him put so much on the line that blood literally comes out of his eyes when he's benching..

I just watched some of it. Badass...he triples 585, 405 for 20, and his form is just about perfect for a PL'er. If you think you're hardcore cuz you just benched 365 for the first time, watch this and prepare to feel weak.

On the downside, he appears to have chicken legs. I don't know if he does much else besides bench, but he could definitely put some meat on the legs.

In the video you will see him knock out 585 for an easy triple completely bare chested..

I guess even when compaired to a traditional BBing rep,it's still a pretty impressive bench but i just can't help to think, how much damage that kind of lifestyle does to the human body. .. was that really blood on his face from just benching or did he cut himself?

I've seen guys slam their foreheads into the bar prior to slamming the weight. I assumed that's what it was from

and 585x3 is pretty good if it is raw.

No.. That blood is from his Blood pressure being so High that Blood came out of his Nose and Tear Ducts...

What are the risks of having a stroke from straining under a max lift?

Ohh.. I'd say pretty minimal..

Why? The body is quite capable of handling EXTREME blood pressure increases for short periods of time... YOu'd be suprised how High Your blood pressure gets while working out on maximal loads.. or while doing regular things around your house that make you strain...

Also... it hasn't happened to any of these guys.. and the way they train and compete.. if it were likely to happen.. it would happen pretty regularly..
