I am a new user and I apologize if my requests for clarification may seem repetitive and trivial to most of you. Over the past week I have tried to read extensively on this forum and to use the search function, but there are still some points that are not entirely clear.
I have been using tirzepatide (Mounjaro) for years already, but the costs are what you all know, and it is extremely tempting to purchase peptide vials at reduced prices.
My main doubts are essentially three:
1) I have read about independent tests by Janoshik or similar labs, but more than purity, I am concerned about the possibility of contamination: endotoxins, viruses, bacteria (bacterial cellulitis, sepsis, necrotizing fasciitis?). What are the real health risks associated with weekly subcutaneous injections?
2) There is talk about filtration using membranes—does this also apply to GLP peptides or only to oils? Does it make sense in the case of tirzepatide?
3) Is there any way to reduce the risks related to possible contamination (UV exposure? chemical or thermal disinfection?) that does not alter the final product?
