Salt is doing the opposite for me (please need a expert opinion)

When I eat salt ( not much like 1gramm ) I get super high blood pressure and can’t really breath normally , my face gets swollen as fuck I get flat and look chubby and I loose all my veins .

When I don’t eat salt for 3-4 days straight and continue, I get full as fuck , my face gets lean and I get veiny as fuck .

But this wasn’t always like this . Back then it was the opposite (3-4 years ago) .

It shouldn’t be like this, why is salt making me flat, chubby and causing me so much bloodpressure?

Also my fingertips are under immense pressure when I eat salt, it feels like they gonna explode (yes my fingers)

It's probably your body does adjust taking low salt. Allow it to increase to 2g, increase potassium and fluid intake. It will be fine..

Your taking the wrong salt, are you using table salt? (Iodized salt)

As someone mentioned, you seem to have electrolytes imbalance. Use pink Himalayan salt and that will likely solve that problem

Sodium chloride is still sodium chloride....

I am assuming you are going to go in th direction of sea salt or Himalayan.

The electrolyte profile of the other salts are still neglible.

If you are talking about half potassium chloride and half sodium chloride, then that's a different story

I knew you were going to go with this.
Both are still 98% sodium chloride...

David just get some potassium citrate to down daily... Take 25% of daily value...

Sounds like your electrolytes are out of balance. Salt does that to me too when I don’t replace electrolytes and get severely dehydrated from several days straight of going hard in the sun and sweating all day.
Dude this makes sense. I hadn't salted anything in 20yrs and started carnivore, coupled w intense workouts and HGH in this heat and I'm bloated as fuck. I need to just eat raw meat I think. My bodpod assessment in AM tomorrow is gonna be fkd lmao

I also forgot to mention that if I don’t eat salt (this is no joke and I am 100% serious) I don’t get any cramps, but When I eat salt I get random leg cramps. Plus when I don’t eat salt I get insane pumps in the gym , but as soon as I eat salt I get no pumps in the gym

So what should I do?

Buy Himalaya salt, buy electrolytes supplements? Just start eating salt till my body adapts?

Please food tastes like shit without salt (which means I can’t have any sauces etc too)

Dude you probably need to go and drink some pedialytes as a start. Your electrolytes are probably trashed and you need to slowly reintroduce. I'd recommend adding the Himalaya and electro support if that's easier

It's because of the electrolyte imbalance. Do what svengali said. Except the Himalayan part is irrelevant...

Himalayan does jack shit. Actually look at the electrolyte profile of it compared to regular salt.

Related to sodium, yes
Calcium potassium magnesium iron no. I prefer to use little or none but I've also done so for 25yrs and been fine, outside of the ridic heat and exertion days then I use Himalayan heavily and pedialytes if utterly fkd.

Have you looked at the daily value of the electrolytes in himalayan? Do you think the other electrolytes even reach even 1 percent of DV if you took 400mg of sodium?

It's just a gimmick.

Has it to be this pedialyte? Or can I just go to the pharmacy and buy a electrolyte drink/powder?

So as far as I understood

I should by Himalaya salt and use this and start supplementing electrolyte powder from the pharmacy.

Right?

Pedialyte or powder from pharmacy will be fine. I wouldn't use generic tablets salt but that's my opinion and research on it vs sea salt or others.

Sodium is the basis of the vital activity of the cells of the body, it seems to me a very bad habit to eat little salt.
