Can't say this is suprising. He was probably also abused by his father at some point. A good amount of times the victims become offenders later on. Sad really.

He was probably molested and never received treatment. It doesn't make it any less of a crime as he's an adult. But if it happened to him he may think it's ok. Either was it's still fucked up. He's an adult. Knows it's wrong. And could of seeked help.
