Yes you just up the content to acount for the impurity when you weigh the solute. Unless the impurity is an insoluble solid. The only way to seperate that is recrystallization and hot filtration while it's a solution. Anything under 95% i would strongly recommend retesting ICP MS for heavy metals and toxins. It's probably just inert leftover reactants from shit stoichiometric calculations or poor extraction techniques but you never know

That was true before when we had multiple trusted long time suppliers. Now the raw material market is shaky at best.I don't think we've ever had a positive heavy metals test, we stopped bothering a long time ago I believe. Probably more of a concern for tabs..

some recent finds in australia, although idk where their raw powder comes from most likely china. could be a potential but even if we find heavy metals in their raws theres only 1 good raw vendor which isnt private atm so people wont change away from them
of course i would 95% is great dont waste your time unless its 90% pure thers a point where doing more is a waste now if you confirm these raws are weird and looking off id do it anyways. the more you have the better off you are doing it in mass. if i had raws 96% pure id consider it "good enough" it really depends on how much you have to lose or gain here. thats not to say i dont personally do better when i can because i do its my name after all. clear pharma. but 95% pure jano on raws you tested is good. over dose by 6% call it good. you will be within 8% on target which is still better than pharma. what people really want to see is your gcms and see if your oil is clean. as long as your better than pharma you wont have issues. im always always within 5% or better but thats just me and my standards . my recent purification was within 4% and the raws was ASS starting out. i call that a win.

its great you got rid of the smell but at the same time im certain your solvent selection was not the most ideal. but no smell is a good sign anyways. nice. iv gotten higher gains off my india shit ass raws and they turned beautifully white. gmcs gave me insight it was 88% of the total contents. got 242 on a hplc with zero overdose and target of 250mg i call that a win also of course smell was gone. didnt sell it though except to someone who needed tons for personal use and they was fully aware of my process on it
it still great to see you can take some ass shit raws and make something pretty dang good out of it. proof of concept but applies to most raws.
you processed via fractions or the whole batch? i personally had to go 100 grams at time to control what i got out of it. slower but you can really fine tune if something fucks up mid way.
About a hundred grams at a time do to equipment and glassware limitations. I get the experimentation out of the way with very small amounts in test tubes with different solvents to see what works the best before I start risking large amounts.

The fake mast E was a longer time supplier who is a broker and didn't know and he gave me a full refund and took the loss himself so he gets forgiven.
my supplier was long time too. till they was not. lost like 5k off that. sigh
