Ya, I know that feeling. I haven't really gone anywhere in the past few years because of money and looking after my elderly mother.

Very nice! I feel like I've seen that rock formation on TV or pictures before but can't place where it is. Very nice view though, I'm ready for a vacation after seeing some of these pics.

Italy is one country on my bucket list to visit as my mom's parents came from a small town near Rome.

there is never enough time when you go visit countries so full of history. Especially because you have always to trade off relax time with running around trying to see as many things as you can.

I love Italy and I say this not because I was born in it. I quite despise Italians but when for example you set foot in Rome and look around and for a second think that a thousand years ago an emperor was walking trough circo massimo like you are just doing... It always gives me such a powerful sensation.. Like I'm part of it somehow. The beauty of what was created centuries ago still pervade every Italians life on a daily basis. They are not able to appreciate it anymore but few still can
