Scholar of Useless Knowledge

Need to get this thread back on track I feel that none of the current topics are useless knowledge.

Trukker were you aware of the fact that blue whales have a 9ft penis which sounds huge but it's actually proportionally smaller than most other mammals:D

The girls, bless them, would still get disappointed if I told them that mine is bigger than that of a whale's*

* relatively speaking

Yeah ive seen where it's been done before just not that often. Only real issue I'm concerned with is what brake booster can I run without going to a hydraulic unit. I don't want to run power steering. Wiring is easy smeezy I've built several ls harnesses and got all the pretty little framed certificates to show employers I'm not a dummy.:p
They make a manual rack for foxbodies...i think about $185...
As far as brakes go you can remove your brake booster and adapt a manual booster...look at something from around the early 70s with a 1 inch or bigger piston gm or ford p/u...some caddys from the 60s used one with an inch and 1/8 piston. You will stop like u have pwr brakes.
Or go with a wilwood set up brand new.

That'd be cool but I'm still wanting to run a manual trans. An old toploader would be cool behind that setup...it might even take the torque idk kind of something to think about. I'm wanting to keep it extra light, I'm not that into drag racing but if anything it might get put on a roadcourse track nearby for shits and giggles.
A top loader or an after mrkt 6 speed...trans-dapt makes the bell housing no matte what engine u use.

Can't beat Quaife for manual transmissions (sequential - motorcycle shift pattern - bam, bam!) and diffs - they even make transaxles! - plus steering racks and various drive train parts. Awesome and bulletproof stuff.

Holy shit 10k for a trans...I'm out:eek:

Well.... they're available for less if you buy through a rep - you're looking at MSRP - they have to make their reps money too.

How many aftermarket mfg do you know that will make their own design sequential gearbox - and warranty it for 750hp?

Check this for an LS6:
Chevrolet/Chevy LS 6-Speed RWD Sequential Gearbox with Straight Cut (Spur) Gears - Direct Drive

Imagine that in a supercharged Vette.... too much fun. That'd be a cheap package too.

The vehicle known as a bacterium flatchulem is designed to carry nutrients across the nucleus of a living cell. It deposits the nutrients then loads up waste products and deposits them in another area of the cell.
Its tail has the ability to spin 10000 rpm and instantly reverse directions.
It is alive and every single living cell in your body has one.....

The school in The Breakfast Club is Shermer High School, Shermer, Illinois... There ya go... Useless...
I have a direct connection to that movie. I can't say it though because it would give my identity away  some guys on meso know me personally, if they know the movie they can connect the dots.
