I just started on Semaglutide today.

Stats:
Male
30 years old
5 ft 6
214 lbs
Goal weight : 140lbs

I bought 5 x 5mg Ultima semaglutide from one of the sources on the steroid underground, you can find my review of the seller there.
I reconstituted my 5mg semaglutide with 2ml of BAC water and pinned 0.1ml into my love handle for a dose of 250mcg.
I plan on upping the dose gradually and by feel rather than by the advised method of doubling every 4 weeks.
I will also be using ephedrine pre cardio and possibly pre workout more so as an energy booster than an appetite suppressant.

My diet will be high in protein and fibre and low in fat as i have read that this is the best way to eat on Semaglutide.
I will be focusing on hydration and protein consumption mainly.
I train 6 days a week in the gym, typical bodybuilder style training and i get a minimum of 10,000 steps a day with no exception, usually i get closer to 20,000.

note:
I am not sure if this is the correct sub-forum to post this log so if any admin feels it should be moved then please go right ahead.

Day 1:
Slight nauseous feeling post injection, not sure if placebo or not.
Took 8mg of ephedrine about an hour after, i have taken ephedrine in the past but it has been 10 plus years so i am starting with a low dose and will titrate up from there as needed.
Weight is 214 lbs.

Day 1 continued:

Very mild itchy feeling at injection site about and hour post injection but not too bad and went away.
Definitely felt fuller faster in the evening and i was burping more than usual.
I took a second 8mg of Ephedrine in the afternoon pre workout and trained Chest and Shoulders, everything felt normal and i can definitely tell the ephedrine is legit even at this low dose.

i ended the day on just over 1800 kcals with 25,000 steps.
I will be uploading screenshots from my fit bit app throughout this log.

Day 2:
Weight: 211.6

Down a couple of pounds which I'm sure is just water at this stage.
Woke up not feeling as hungry as normal, i took 8mg ephedrine and some black coffee and went out for a 10k walk/hike in the morning.
Slight intestinal crampy kind of feeling while walking, not painful or anything just something i noted.
I ate a high protein meal of turkey rashers and low fat white pudding (the Irish folk on here will know about white pudding) on a couple of low calorie bread rolls for a total of 500 kcals.
I was able to eat the meal with no issue but i am definitely noticing increased fullness.

I plan on upping the dose gradually and by feel rather than by the advised method of doubling every 4 weeks.
I think this is definitely the way to go- I was on it for about 3 months and only increased the dose from .25mg to. 3 and it was still working fine. No severe sides like I've heard of some folks getting when they double the dose.

Good luck!

Thanks benmisa, much appreciated.

Tomorrow will be day 3 since I started so levels of semaglutide should be at peak from what I've read.
I have seen some reports of people staying on the initial 250mcg dose for months and some that feel nothing untill they get upwards of 1mg.
I think from how I feel right now that I will be upping the dose by 50% to 375mcg but I won't commit to that untill I see how I feel tomorrow and during the weekend.

Day 2 continued:

Ended the day at just over 1800 calories again, i am going to try to get more protein in going forward.
I have ordered some whey protein to add to my pre-workout porridge that will help bump it up.
I trained back and strength felt normal despite the calorie deficit but i did feel a drop off in energy halfway through the session, likely due to lowered carbs.
Got plenty of walking in for cardio, fitbit screens below.

Day 3:

Weight: 209.8 lbs

Felt quite hungry this morning but fought it off with some black coffee and 8mg ephedrine.
Went out for 10k hike and then to the gym a couple hours later to train chest, shoulders and a bit of arms.
Pre workout meal was porridge, 75g carbs total and I had another 8mg ephedrine pre workout.
I also had a scoop of pre-workout with caffeine and creatine in it which i don't normally use.
Could my weigh in tomorrow morning be affected by just one 3g serving of creatine?
I'm not too worried about that anyway as i am planning on ordering a similar pre workout to start using as it had great effect on my session.
I managed a PR on DB shoulder press of 32.5kg for 6 reps, previously i had never gone above 30kg for 6 reps so not sure where they extra strength came from.
The session was a bit all over the place as i was chatting to friends and doing a bit of everything.
I wont be training tomorrow so i hit arms a bit after chest and shoulders.

Day 3 continued:

I went out for an evening walk after training in the gym but not much else to note for the rest of the day.
I was able to eat a substantial enough dinner but am definitely finding myself feeling more full from less food.
I was able to get a lot more protein in today and will be aiming for 150g+ per day going forward.
I am still undecided on what dose i will be doing this Tuesday for my second pin, if my weight is still going down considerably each day then i will keep at .250mcg and also keep the calories at about 1800.
I am not in a rush to up the dose but i do want to try to lose 3-4 pounds a week especially in these first few weeks.

Day 4:

Weight: 209.2

Weight is down again, only by .6 lbs today but I'm still happy with that considering the creatine i had yesterday.
If i can average that kind of loss per day then i will be on course to lose 4 or so lbs per week.

I had a black coffee and 8mg ephedrine then I went out for a 10km walk.
I will be spending the rest of the day with family and wont be training in the gym.
I will likely go for another walk this evening when I'm home and keep the calories around 1800.

I ate my breakfast at around 11 am, it was 300g (raw weight) of pork fillet on 2 slimster bread rolls (98 calories each) for a total of 600 calories.
I stomached the meal easily and had no reflux or feelings of being over full.
It is now 2pm and i am feeling quite hungry again.
If i am feeling hunger like this tomorrow then i think i will take my second dose of semaglutide tomorrow instead of waiting for Tuesday.

Day 4 continued:

I ended up having fish and chips with curry sauce with family and a few sweets.
I still got my cardio in so I'm not too upset and i didn't go way overboard with sweets or anything. I didn't track the fish and chips or random sweets i had so the Fitbit app screens are not accurate as to the total calories and macros for the day.

Day 5

weight: 210 lbs

Weight up a little as a result of yesterdays fish and chips and sweets but no big deal.
Out for my usual 10km hike already today, i had a coffee and 8mg of ephedrine pre hike.
I will be training back in the gym this evening as well as getting another walk in after dinner.
I think I will do my second shot of Semaglutide tomorrow, so one day early as i started on Tuesday this week.
I can definitely feel the compound working but i am going to up the dose the .375 tomorrow as i feel like i can handle it.

Keep up the great work. I started sema with similar metrics to yours. 5'6 227lbs. reached a low of 144 after switching to tirzepatide, lost a ton of hair and muscle like an idiot because I didn't lift and eat enough protein. You're on the right track.

Just in case you aren't familiar, the half life of semaglutide is 7 days. If you increase your dose and take it early, you're stacking it on top of the significant amount of semaglutide remaining in your body, so you'll find the effects to be much more substantial.

I plotted out what it would look like if you did .25mg on day 1 then .375 on day 5.

Day 5 continued:

I ended up having a great back session and getting plenty of walking in for cardio.
Went slightly over my calorie goal as i had a rice crispy square mid workout as i was feeling a bit fatigued halfway through.

Screenshot_2024-04-02-10-54-37-248_com.fitbit.FitbitMobile.jpgScreenshot_2024-04-02-10-54-48-952_com.fitbit.FitbitMobile.jpg

Day 6:

Weight 209.4

I did my second dose of semaglutide today, one day earlier than scheduled.
I had a bit of a mishap that i though i would share for any newbies out there like myself.

So when i did my first shot i shot 1ml of air into the vial to pressurise it in order to draw faster but that was silly.
This time i injected another .2 ml of air not thinking that i had already pressurised the vial and the vacuum in the vial was so strong that it was pulling the fluid back into the vial as i was trying to draw it out.
It was easily solved as i just removed the needle, then removed the plunger from the syringe and reinserted the needle to exhaust the air from the vial.
I then injected .2ml of air and drew up the .15 ml i wanted for my 375mcg of semaglutide without issue.

I then made another small mistake as i saw there was a slight air bubble in the syringe and when i tried to just lightly press the plunger to get rid of it i ended up squirting a bit more liquid out than i wanted.
I think i likely ended up only taking another 275-300mcg of semaglutide but no big deal and lesson learned.

My main takeaway from this whole experience is that if this ever happens again i should use a new needle to inject with as i definitely noticed that the 30g insulin needle i used for my second shot was considerably dulled just from going in and out of the vial a few more times than normal.
I had seen others mention this in logs before and it is definitely true.

I once again felt slight nausea in the minutes post injection but very mild and it went away as did the slight itch at the sight of injection.

I trained Chest and Shoulders in the gym today and had a good workout, energy levels were normal and overall i felt no ill effects from the semaglutide.
I am still feeling full faster but i am not burping as much as the first week and i can still eat good sized meals without too much issue.
I think I'm not as sensitive to the compound as some others.
I think i will do another 375mcg shot next Monday and then possibly go up to 500mcg from there.
I ended the day low on my calorie goal to make up for going slightly over the day before.

Thanks for the reply and input Discard, much appreciated.
How long were you on semaglutide before you swithced to Tirz?
Also did you start Tirz at 2.5mg or go straight to 5mg per week as i have seen some others do when switching from Sema to Tirz?

Congrats on your weight loss, i can imagine you must be delighted.

In 2018 i was down to 140lbs myself, which i achieved using keto diet, intermittent fasting and prolonged fasting of 1-7 days at a time, i had lost a lot of muscle too and hadn't been lifting weight for years at that stage i was just running on the treadmill every day.
But i ended up gaining all the weight back due to poor mental health and a back injury.
I am determined to not let that happen this time, my plan once ive reached my weight loss goal is to get the loose skin removed with surgery and then start putting on as much lean muscle tissue as i possibly can over the next fee years while blasting and cruising.
Are you doing any kind of cycle or bulk post weight loss?

Day 7:

Weight: 207.8 lbs

A new low weigh in so I'm happy with that.
I will be training Arms in the gym today and getting my usual 20k + steps in for cardio.
I will update further tomorrow.

Thanks! About 6 months on sema. I started pharma tirz so I followed the protocol. Now Im on ugl tirz so I have flexibility with do safe.

Getting on tirz was a huge mental health boost for me. Getting the appetite and food noise under control allowed me to do the work through psychiatry and therapy to resolve many contributing mental health issues.

I'm planning a blast later this year after my athletic season is over. I'm currently on medically supervised trt, which has had a profound impact on my mental and physical health.

Skin removal can be expensive, the earlier you report it bothering you to your doc the better chances it'll get covered. Best of luck!

I keep hearing about the reducing food noise aspect of Tirz and it really interests me as this is one of my main issues when I'm in a calorie deficit.
I definitely think i will be ordering Tirz once I'm on my last couple vials of Sema.

I'm glad to hear that you mental health is improving i know all too well that it is a constant battle to stay on top of.
For me copious amount's of walking outdoors really seems to help especially walking in natural environments like forests and also lifting weights seems to give me a boost by really tiring myself out physically it also makes me feel more mentally rested and less prone to overthinking.

A good friend of mine recently got skin removal surgery so i will likely use his doctor and clinic and will update this thread when the time comes, thanks again for taking an interest in my log.

Day 7 continued:

I had a good arm workout, i dont really enjoy training arms and for the last few months i have been avoiding training them but i am getting back into the habit of it now.
I went below my calorie goal by a small margin again and didnt feel very hungry in the evening.

Day 8:

Weight: 206.6

New low weigh in today so all is going well.
I got my 10km walk in early this morning and am hitting back in the gym later today.

Day 8 continued:
Had a great Back session in the gym and got plenty of walking in.
Felt very full after a moderate sized dinner.
Slightly under 1800 calories so another good day all in all.

Screenshot_2024-04-04-00-03-46-188_com.fitbit.FitbitMobile.jpgScreenshot_2024-04-04-00-03-39-602_com.fitbit.FitbitMobile.jpg

Day 9:

Weight: 206.6 lbs

Same weight as yesterday but i feel like that more to do with my lack of regular bowel movements.
I know that semaglutide slows down digestion and gastric activity so it is to be expected. I have been taking a fibre supplement twice daily to help with this.
Hopefully tomorrow the scales will be a couple pounds down.
I'm taking a rest day today after four days straight in the gym.
Ill still be going out for my 10km walk and evening walk as well and try to get as many steps as possible as usual.

Day 9 continued:
Got plenty of walking in on my rest day and stayed within my calorie goal as well, so far my takeaway from being on this low dose of semaglutide is that it makes it a lot easier to eat smaller meals and feel full.

Screenshot_2024-04-05-10-20-24-891_com.fitbit.FitbitMobile.jpgScreenshot_2024-04-05-10-20-37-043_com.fitbit.FitbitMobile.jpg

Day 10:

Weight: 206.8

Weight is slightly up by 0.2 lbs today which is strange but i definitely think it is due to reduced bowel movements as a result of the semaglutide.
I am going to train chest and shoulders today and due to weather i might not get as much walking in but maybe i will spend some time on the treadmill to make up for that.
If my weight is not down tomorrow then i will cut calories by 100 a day and instead of trying to hit a maximum of 1800 calories daily i will go for a maximum daily intake of 1700 calories.
My pre-workout supplement with Creatine has just arrived, I'm going to start taking that today so i will be taking that into account as well.
I will likely do my next dose of semaglutide tomorrow at a dose of 500mcg but i am not 100% decided on that.

I think it's more useful to make adjustments like this based on weekly progress rather than a day or two. There are a lot of factors that affect water retention and can cause 2-5 lbs of weight to linger on the scale when you're not actually doing anything wrong. Creatine is one so keep this in mind when you start. Also, the first few pounds always go quick (glycogen stores) and tend to set an unrealistic expectation for the pace of actual fat loss.

I agree, I won't be adjusting my calories untill Monday if the scale does not go down and I won't be doing my next semaglutide shot untill Monday either, I had not realised that it had only been a few days since my last one. I've had a very stressful week and it had felt like much longer since my last semaglutide administration. Thank you for the continued interest and advice

Day 10 continued:

I ended up not getting much cardio in as there has been a storm here so i chose to take a break from the cardio for a day.
Still got about 5km in walking in just from normal daily tasks.
My chest and shoulders workout felt a bit lacklustre, i didn't feel as strong or have as much stamina as normal.
Likely due to the reduced carbs and calories over this past 10 days.

Screenshot_2024-04-06-11-26-38-085_com.fitbit.FitbitMobile.jpgScreenshot_2024-04-06-11-26-22-911_com.fitbit.FitbitMobile.jpg

Day 11:

Weight: 204.8
New low weigh in today so I'm happy with that especially considering i didn't do cardio yesterday and also i took 6g of creatine pre and intra workout.

Plan is to train back today and get my cardio in if possible, this storm seems to be lingering so I'm not sure if i will be able to get out and walk.
I will update further tomorrow.

Day 11 continued:

Got some walking in, over 10km and 15k steps ish and a good back workout as well so all in all a good day.
I'm certainly very happy with how the Semaglutide makes it so much easier to feel fulfilled after small meals that previously would have been a drop in the ocean for me.

Screenshot_2024-04-07-12-02-41-619_com.fitbit.FitbitMobile.jpgScreenshot_2024-04-07-12-03-03-293_com.fitbit.FitbitMobile.jpg

Day 12:

Weight: 205.2 lbs

Slightly heavier than yesterday but no big deal, I've been on creatine for a few days now so i expect i will be holding some water.

I'm spending the first part of the day studying and then going to watch some football before going to the gym and then going for a walk in the evening, the weather is still very bad here so i might not get my 20k+ steps in but i will get around 15k I'm sure.

I have a job interview on Tuesday that i want to be fresh for so i will be doing my next Semaglutide administration tomorrow which is one day early just so i don't feel any side effects on Tuesday morning.
I will be doing a .2ml administration of 500mcg.

More updates tomorrow !
