Senate makes designer steroids a controlled substance

I wonder how long it will be before they find another loophole and continue production. I've emailed a couple of them asking them how it will affect them and gotten responses that they have things in works to stay in business and offer potent supplements regardless of the FDA. We'll see though.

A lot of companies are shutting down, regardless of any loopholes there may be. Apparently people don't want to take the risk with the AG being able to add any compound to the list at any given time. It's unfortunate, but what do you expect from an ever-controlling government.

Pure oils says they have no plans to change their business regardless of current or pending legislation (I emailed them directly). I have heard they are owned by a lawyer, but that may be a bunch of internet bunk.

I am not sure about peptides being covered in this. But yes, all non-traditional steroids will become illegal which include prohormones.

IMO, and I hope I am wrong about this; AAS busts will go through the roof in 2015. This year alone I remember about 6 or so large busts. I think that will be nothing now in the coming year.

Land of the free.
Law enforcement needs to worry about more serious things than AAS in my opinion, such as crack, heroin or meth which are FAR MORE dangerous than gear, but most rec drug busts also include gear so go figure

I'm predicting things will get really "iffy" in 2015... i am personally putting as many anabolics aside as possible, anticipating things will only worsen regarding access and availability. If you don't already have an Rx for Test... you had better go to your urologist and get
one! I for one, am unable to do that, and their's not one single constituent i currently utilize, that ANY doctor will write me a script for! And.. i don't use Test at all. These S.O.B.'s in this country need to stop making NEW laws! And Freedom... here in America is experiencing its last gasp for air now! :(
The population has just grown so large that in a desperate attempt, the government has resorted to attempting to remove freedom to protect citizens from themselves. Yes as citizens we might do stupid things to ourselves and our bodies, but at the end of the day they are our bodies!

SHHHH... stop resorting to logic and let the government protect you!

Yeah, except pure oils doesn't have their shit together in even the slightest bit.

Meaning that their stuff is bunk or under-dosed??

It's not bunk, can't comment on it being underdosed. Took them several weeks to ship out my second pack when there were 100+ vials in stock when I ordered.

Apparently it was a case of mass-incompetence on the part of several employees who have since been fired.

Their products are great, but the shipping snafu greatly upset A LOT of people, and rightfully so.

This will not put a hault on anything in the world.of anabolics. If anything more labs will spring up due to demand. If operation gear grinder didnt stop shit, nothing will

The "War on Drugs" was a lost cause to begin with.

Prohibition doesn't solve anything, and more often than not, it only makes the problem worse... Look to the Mexican Drug Cartels for a perfect example of the problem only getting worse.

The government acts like a pompous child when they believe they can stop illegal drug use... Whether it be AAS or Heroine... If people want to use, there will ALWAYS be a way to get it.

Meanwhile, the Prison-Industrial-Complex is making MILLIONS off of throwing non-violent "criminals" in prison... And we, the tax payers, get to foot the bill for said non-violent "criminals" who have been incarcerated for no good reason, other than the government gets off on telling you and I what we can and cannot put into our own bodies.

Our children are getting kidnapped and traded into sex slavery across the border by the Cartels just so we can continue to fill up the prisons with people who should NOT be incarcerated at the expense of the tax payers.

System of a Down couldn't have said it better in their song, "Prison Song:"

"They're trying to build a prison
For you and me to live in...

Minor drug offenders fill your prisons
You don't even flinch
All our taxes paying for your wars
Against the new non-rich"

The socalled War on Drugs is a joke and a total waste of money...who benefits? To me NO ONE. Of course truly dangerous drugs with no redeeming value should be banned but others like weed should be legalized. With legalization the crime goes down and we aren't putting people in prison needlessly. Can the same be for AAS? Yes it should be, albeit with proper regulation and taxation. We need to educate our lawmakers and powers that be that drugs that have good uses should be legal to obtain, prescription or otherwise. However the big problem is Big Pharma as they want to control the manufacture and distribution of these legal drugs. Why? $$$$$$!

Agreed.

I've never used heroine, and never intend to use it... But I know it's partially illegal because pharma would rather sell you their patented heroine analogs as pain-control drugs that require the permission of a doctor to obtain. Three parties benefit financially in that case... The insurance companies, the healthcare system and the pharmaceutical companies producing the drug.

Obviously I don't think people should be using it for recreation, but who am I to judge what people can and cannot do for fun. Apparently I don't think like our government, though... I don't think about how an entity can turn anything into a profit.

I used to believe I was anti-american until learning more about our Founding Fathers. Today I believe it is our government that is anti-american. At least tyrants are clear in their opposition to freedom, instead of creating this mass illusion of civil liberty. I respect an honest tyrant more than a government composed of lying hypocrites.

"When once a republic is corrupted, there is no possibility of remedying any of the growing evils but by removing the corruption and restoring its lost principles; every other correction is either useless or a new evil."
— Thomas Jefferson

"It is the first responsibility of every citizen to question authority."
—Benjamin Franklin

"It is the duty of the patriot to protect its country from its government."
—Thomas Paine

"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."
— Benjamin Franklin (on the title page of An Historical Review of the Constitution and Government of Pennsylvania - 1759)

"... rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our own will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law,' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the right of an individual"
— Thomas Jefferson (Letter to Isaac H. Tiffany - 1819)

"I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it."
— Thomas Jefferson (Letter to Archibald Stuart - 1791)

"Good intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority. It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters."
— Daniel Webster

"I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of freedoms of the people by gradual and silent encroachment of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations...The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home..If tyranny and oppression come to this land, it will be under the guise of fighting a foreign enemy."
— James Madison (attributed to Madison, by his contemporaries)

"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."
— Thomas Jefferson (attributed to Jefferson, by his contemporaries)

All drugs need to be legalized because there is only the illegality of it that makes peoe do the stupid shit they do to get it. If things were legal there wouldn't be the crime that their is now because it wouldn't be a bitch to get well or spun. It is an industry this war on drugs. our government built prisons, hires police men, lawyers, etc etc for this pretend war that they keep going only to make money. This is one of the topics that drives me to anarchy... In my mind. I have to go now I want to go break a Starbucks window! :-)

The men who managed to lay the foundation of this country were alcoholics, whoremongers, frequently used laudnum (well pretty much everybody did back then) and somehow managed to build a revolutionary army that beat the British into submission. Even though these men possessed a number of vices they managed to build a country set on civil liberty and the protection of its people from foreign invaders, an oppressive government, and protect the innocent from criminals. It seems like in most instances that when government prohibits the people from using recreational drugs, that we see an increase in violent crime and as soon as the substance is legalized we see a sharp decline in violent crime. Prohibition of alcohol is a prime example. Only when the civil liberties of another person have been directly violated by another should the law intercede. It is unfair and unjust to incarcerate and brand someone a criminal for either selling or using drugs because drugs may turn certain other individuals to crime. Only the person who commits a violent act against another should be held directly accountable.

The government is just about everything our finding fathers would argue against. This country does not seem to be the land of the free that's for sure. And I believes population is a huge factor in majority of changes, I mean besides the all mighty dollar.

The government also wants you on their drugs. Their are plenty of drugs being handed out like candy to the public and I believe because once dependent those people are no longer a risk. At least a much smaller risk because now they have leverage on these habits. It is good to see others that feel similar on this matter. Quite a scary topic to be honest. But will all that said I don't know where I would rather live.

Also, steroids is a drug that I would fear if I was in position of authority. Makes people stronger, faster and depending on use more endurance! And it may also make the individual healthier. But most important is the rise in confidence these drugs cause that bring the most fear. Strong willed as well as physical people that are confident in their beliefs and are willing to stand up for what they believe in is the scariest thing any authoritive position fears
