Shiva Pre contest log. Starting at 8 weeks out

What’s up guys. I’m currently 8 weeks out from my NPC show. I’ll be competing in classic physique and men’s bodybuilding.

As of now at 8 weeks out my macros are:
240g protein
250g carbs
50g fat

Very basic foods.

Meal 1 is eggs/egg whites/ turkey bacon/ toast/ pb.

Meal 2 is jasmine rice, chicken, some veggies and avocado

Meal 3 is pre workout. Chicken breast and cream of rice with fruit

Meal 4 post workout same as pre workout

Meal 5 pre bed meal: sirloin steak, sweet potato, avocado, veggies.


My training is a basic 5 day split focused mostly on training intensity over volume and frequency. Typical 2 set, top set back off set method.


Current peds:
650mg test
400mg primo
250npp (will pull out the npp this coming week and swap it with masteron)
4iu gh
Just added in 20mcg of clenbuterol last week, slowly tapering up 10mcg per week until I reach 80 mcg, then pull a week out before show.

I’ll attach some photos, most of which are from last week, at 9 weeks out, body weight is currently 201 lbs fasted in the morning, i am 5’7

What weight are you planning to compete?
My weight cap for classic physique is 187 lbs at 5’7 - however my plan is to remove all spinal loading 4 ish weeks out and throw in some inversion tables and dead hangs to try to lengthen the spine a bit and if I can pull that off a bit and stand up on my toes a bit and make 5’8 my cap would be 193 lbs (which is what im hoping will happen)

If I have to deplete down to 187 to make weigh ins it will suck a bit but then I’ll fill back out and probably be around 193 on stage.
 
Today was hamstring and glute day and my workout went something like:

SLDL: two top sets

385x10
335x15

Seated hamstring curl 2 top sets and 2 tempo sets (usually I only do two top sets on seated but my current gym I’m at doesn’t have a lying ham curl where I typically do 3 sets, so instead I add 2 onto seated and 1 set onto my ghd)

195x 14 , 11 (this is as high as the machine goes so usually I do a lower rep set first but you gotta make do with what you got sometimes)

165 x 18 (pause first ten reps), 17 (pause first ten)

Calves on the leg press 3pps x 14,14,12

Ghd: BW x 14,12, 10

Abduction machine 220 x 14,12,10

If that's ~200lbs posted, stage ready for you is probably going to be closer to middleweight (180ish).

I say this without intending to be rude at all; this isn't a 190+ on stage physique yet.

Focus on getting peeled, truly peeled. Not the weight.

No disrespect taken. We shall see for sure. My last show in 2021 I was 184lbs on stage and my conditioning was very good, my coach pushes conditioning over anything else (I can post up some photos for you if you like) and I’ve put in a long off-season and put on a good ammount of tissue since then. So time will tell what we get on stage at this time.

Tricep push down with long attachment for cross body extension:

72x12, 10, 65x10

DB skulls:

The only constructive criticism I can give is to bring those hams up. The hamstrings is the only thing that really stands out as an area to work on
Yes 100% my hamstrings are easily my biggest weak point and lagging muscle group. I will be working very hard this off-season to bring them up.

I brought my quads up a ton this off-season which was nice for sure but the hams are a bitch

180lbs (this is the whole stack and it’s a selector loaded not pin loaded so I can’t use a gym pin) x 20, 18, 17

Looks really good - how do you use GH ?
