Should I be concerned? (Cystatin C)

Just got labs on 250test 250mast for 6 weeks. I had dabbled with 100mg of tren for 4 weeks of that, but cut it off a week before the test.

BP has been under control. I have been drinking lately more than I should and need to address that

I know the test shows green but the numbers are on the edge from what I'm reading.

Your cystatin is within normal range(aon higher side) EGFR is above the threshold of 60 which is generally considered the cutoff for mild kidney impairment, I would definitely stop drinking alcohol , monitor your blood pressure cause that’s crucial for kidney health and consider re-testing in 6 to 8 weeks to see if the numbers improve once you stop drinking , but I think the combination of drinking and TREN is just not the best move to put it nicely,

Ha for sure man. I agree, just trying to be honest here to paint the whole picture.

Along with cutting those two out you recommend any supplements to help the numbers get better?

While not bad it those numbers are far from what i call good. Between the drinking and then tren those would be some low picking fruit to deal with. Astragalus has been used by many with good results.

That's what I have read as well. I'll look into it thanks Buck.

I've tried astragulus root, but honestly, most of these supplements don't really cut it for me anyway, It wasn't until I got on Jardiance did I start seeing improvement in my EGFR numbers , if you wanted to, you could try astragalus (whole root form? Lots of different takes on what form to use) , NAC, omega3’s 2-4g per day , but again it’s very individual on how you respond and my guess is that with the alcohol intake and the TREN involved that is your biggest issue,

Maybe you didn't ask, but this is what I'd take:

CoQ10

Geranylgeraniol (GG) - GG-Gold specifically
Tocotrienols - DeltaGold specifically
This has both Gold ingredients in it and is 25% off for S&S

NACET (better version of NAC, take on empty stomach) - Amazon.com

If you don't know about Annatto Vitamin E (tocotrienols) watch some Dr. Barrie Tan videos, he's also hilarious and very enjoyable.

Monitor BP
If you are worried, do a UACR test.
Values do look fine to me tho, maybe you can use those values to get a jardiance rx and get insurance to pay for it lol

As of 2025 guidelines for annual testing

Thanks, BP is on the edge. Just ordered the triple pill with telm/ciln and whatever the third is.

Currently on 80mg telm and 20mg mil for months. Morning reading was like 136/78 or something.

I've struggled to get it down even on TRT. It went up last year in the middle of my first cycle (500 test) and has been a pain since.
