Show Prep Cycle Discussion

This seems VERY low for a 255lb shredded dude coached by Phil....

I’ll just come out and say it. No way.

agreed... it literally looks like half of what i see competitors take that are amateurs doing NQ shows (other than the growth i guess... and maybe slin)...

Id say almost EVERYONE takes the tren up to 700mgs a week (100mgs ED) leading into a show, some people take to a 900 to a gram.

But i guess all that being said,,, i've never competed against someone that has hollingshead genetics, so who knows... (but if thats true, that really shows unless you have amazing genetics, you have no chance... lol... but i mean i guess that is pretty much known already anyways:)

This might be one of the last weeks, MAYBE, but the dosages don’t make sense, especially the non-injectables. And maybe they should’ve actually peaked because left a lot on the table.

I had the same thought. I always multiply what they say by at least 2, if not 4-5 LOL. I'd say more like 700-1000mg's of tren a week is likely, just as an example.
The whole thing seems suspect to me. It does not fit with the competitor it's supposed to represent. I suppose anything is possible but he'd be the exception for sure if the list was accurate.

There are minimums on things that must be present to produce his look on stage. Big, grainy, full and hard aren't produced by a middle ground approach on anything at his level.

He was TO THE BONE shredded for WAY too long to be on just those doses. Also thoroughly believe he was either overdieted/lean for too long. He’s lost a LOT of pop on stage.

Hard to know exactly what's happening with those guys schedule wise.

Travelling all over, competing almost weekly, doing guest posing in between and all the while staying peeled and show ready in a few days. We think dialing in for 1 or 2 shows is tough, I can't imagine the toll that lifestyle takes on one over a few years.

You and I both know this to be true... If it doesn't add up, something is wrong. It's definitely not likely to be true for a number of reasons.

Never really heard of anyone actually just running an NPP cycle. He (Jordan Peters) was also using GH at 10 ius a day, as well as Humalog pre and post workout.

The below was posted on trained by JP, by Jordan Peters himself. He also posted blood work.

(Question from member) Am I seeing this right, testosterone 520 nmol/L (14997 ng/dl) and the upper range is 29? How come without test?

(Answer from JP) Nandro will be picked up, if it was test, Estro would be 700-800

So this was on the 400mg npp per day.

So it’s absolutely official that 2.8g nandrolone per week, is less detrimental than 2.8g of test would be! As hematocrit would be crazy , instead of just above range which then is actually perfect for performance, just using ip6 to control it

Hdl really isn’t too bad , I think at 2.8g test , would need letro to control Estro , which would wipe it out totally

So there is no doubts to me now what is the more effective offseason drug.

So 400/day I don’t like, as I said 300 i really did like.

I want to lower the npp to 250 , and bring in 150 primo , just to make it worth it, less than 1g won’t do much, and even then it may not bring much. But I’m confident the combo will be a nice look

I will take my bergamot and krill even higher again and see if can bring back up my hdl to 0.4 , from there I think I can get it back to 0.8 – 1 in a cruise period no probs , and then have everything in range .

*** Thought the above info was pretty interesting, and figured ya'll might wanna have a look.

Alright y’all check it out. Long post but here it goes- looking for some feedback on my plan. Finishing up a successful cut here. Currently in my best condition to date and have a lot of people interested in me competing. Posted quite a few pics in the “Who’s the most shredded member of Meso” thread. Have been to a few local shows recently just to watch and now I’m hooked. Personally, I’m not ready too compete this year but getting in this condition really got me itching to get on stage. Need to practice posing more and really want to add some size first though. Plan is to compete in a local show as a novice mid-May 2020. Not sure what division/class I’d compete in yet though.

Here’s the plan. Have a couple weeks of this cut left. Plan to take a month for trt dose and maintenance cals and reset with a couple week training deload. Then July 1st blast back off through the winter for an “Offseason Growing Cycle”. Then plan to take two months off gear (trt) and start prep February 1st 2020. I’d hire a coach for this.

Gear 7/1-12/1
Test C 250MG/ML .5ml/eod for 435mg/wk
TPP125/NPP125 1.5ml/eod for
TPP 650mg/wk
NPP 650mg/wk
EQ 300MG/ML .5ml/eod for 525/wk

Total
Test 1,085/wk 1-23
NPP 650/wk 1-23
EQ 525/wk 1-23
Adrol 50mg preworkout wk 1-6
GH Optitroptin 4iu eod
Insulin around cheat meals/preworkout to match carb intake

GH and insulin I’m still debating. Have used before but not sure I’ll need it. May just use insulin around cheat meals.

Can go higher with test if needed have .5cc space left in pin eod. Have ran doses this high before but not for this length of time and it’s been a couple years so I’m thinking I’ll respond well.

Training
Training will be MD style switching between his last two 6 week programs-Collusus and Odin Force with a one week deload between programs.

Health/Vitamins
Vitamins to help with health-Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Krill oil, Vitamin K, Citrus Bergamont, IP6, Astragulus, Cucurmin, and Carditone if needed. Donating blood Every 52 days to keep Hematocrit in check.

Food
Calories will start out maintenance at 3,500cals training days (300p/475c/55f) 3,000 non-training days (300p/350c/50f) and will steadily increase throughout to as high as needed keeping Protein at 1.5g/bw, fats on lower end (no added fats), and backfilling rest of calories with carbs. Would start with increasing calories around workouts then may have to add another meal in to get the cals.
Here’s a sample look at how I’m laying out my meal plan for maintenance.

Cheat meal 1-2x per week as an additional meal 4,000 cals or so per meal.

I’m currently a lean 195 @ 5’8”. Really not sure where BF is but I’ll put up a couple pics. I pushed up to 220 pretty easy last winter on 4,500 cals/day and much lower doses. I know I can push that much higher this year.

I know this is more of a prep-cycle discussion thread but I see a lot of familiar faces and competitors in this thread so wanted to get some good feedback from y’all with offseason cycle experience.
Thanks

1. You don’t need a gram of test (in my opinion)
2. Ramp from 2iu gh (if it’s your first time)
3. Be adding cals every two weeks or so throughout as long as the mirror doesn’t tell you to stop
4. Consider anadrol on the back end not the front end

Thanks Mac appreciate it brother. You’re probably right on the test. Just like to always keep that .5cc Test C in there and the TPP is a NPP blend but could just drop the Test C. Not first time with GH but I’m really susceptible to sides (was on the meditrope black tops anyways) so definitely need to ramp up real slow-probably 1iu to start then 1iu increases every 2 weeks. Noted on the two week calorie additions!! Definitely going to be aggressive on my cals like you said as long as I don’t get too sloppy. What’s your take on the adrol on back end? Reason I put it on front end was I’ll be coming off trt so wanted to get a quick start and was thinking that at the end of this cycle I may be pretty burnt out on gear.

I think it’s better used to break plateaus than stuff all your gains upfront. Let the injectables load, run their course, plateau, then boost with abombs. If you feel burnt just cruise for longer before starting again.

@rutman thank you brother! Haven’t used it but definitely will add to the list of health supps. What’s your protocol on this? See it sold in 500mg capsules.

That’s what I’ve been taking for probably about the last 6 months, twice a day. One in the morning, one pill at night. Absolutely amazing stuff! Brought my liver values down from the 90’s, all the way down into normal range, in the 40’s.

Awesome brother thanks! Adding this in I should be set for the long haul! Think I got it all covered now.
