Chiros are definitely medical professionals. But I think there are more wanna be MD chiros than anything else

I’m a medical professional - chiropractor’s do not pass medical board exams and are not licensed by legitimate medical boards. Chiropractice is a pseudoscience with no evidence behind. I would love to see a chiropractor pass the USMLE step 1, step 2CK and CS, and step 3 exams - if they do, and follow up by completing at least one year of an accredited medical residency, then they can talk.

I tell my patients it is fine for them to spend their money however they want, including a chiropractor, especially if they feel it helps. However, let’s not try and pretend that they are true medical professionals worth listening to on legitimate medical topics.

Would you say a dentist, PT, nurse or medical assistant is a medical professional?

I am not saying a medical professional is someone who acts as a prescriber btw

Are you one of those “experts” who recommended the "safe and effective" MRNA shots to your patients?

I would never ever go to a chiropractor. It's all bullshit they practice. Not even evidence based as far as I'm aware. My aunt and cousin have been going to one for probably 20 years or more and somehow the younger one ended up with an L-spine fracture and had no clue how it happened. Funny how that works. The chiropractor of course ordered X-rays and then made a treatment regimen. Probably never crossed her mind that her chiro probably caused it. The older one has a fucked up spine and although she's always getting treatment from the chiropractor has never improved.

Nothing wrong with the COVID vaccine. Don't tell me you believe it causes aneurysms and heart issues
Covid can cause myocarditis, but the vaccine can also. Are you saying that’s a quack theory? It’s not as cut and dry as some believe.

“The rate of myocarditis in non-COVID and unvaccinated subjects is not zero, but is approximately 0.33 cases per million per day (98 cases per 296 377 727 person-days), compared with 0.78 cases per million for day in vaccinated subjects (117 cases per 149 786 065 person-days).11,12 This equates to a 2.35-fold increase in the risk of myocarditis in association with vaccination (Rate Ratio 2.45 (1.10–5, 02)), but with a rate of myocarditis in the comparison group (unvaccinated) not equal to zero.”

“COVID vaccines from companies like Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca have been linked to rare occurrences of heart, brain and blood disorders, according to the largest vaccine study to date.”

SSA where are you ? Vacation is over.where’s my shit ordered April 3rd ?Rose just stalling

Also waiting on several orders from early/mid April. Been asking my rep for updates but not getting anything back. Don't know if these were ever sent out. No updates on any of the domestic tracking numbers.

I actually have an order from an Indian source that will likely arrive sooner than these from SSA.

Anyone have any context to share about china packs getting through CBP? What does the new timeline look like? How long should I wait before requesting re-ship? Will SSA give updates if it looks like things are stuck?

I used to see a lot of myocarditis from COVID in the early days but never from the vaccine when it came out. Ill read the article because I'm genuinely curious. I'm wondering how they decide the vaccine caused it vs if they would have had it anyway without the vaccine. I work with a cardiologist regularly at my job. I'll ask him about this. Very curious. Thanks for the link

Dentists PT and nurses follow evidence based practice, pass their own specialty specific board exams and get credentialed by the state they practice in. They are certainly medical professionals, I think universally agreed upon. They also tend to stick to their own lanes and don’t offer themselves up as experts on Medical Pathology outside of their specialty

Chiropractors are entirely non evidence based, which is the major distinction there, and are very much not qualified to position themselves as experts on medical pathology (yet frequently do so)

I saw a patient with cervical myelopathy who a chiropractor mismanaged for years with “manipulations” - he finally had an ACDF and low and behold his symptomatology improved

That said, some of my patients definitely feel they get relief from Chiros. If they do, I see no reason to advocate against going to them as long as they stay in their lane

They are correct though. Thats part of my “joke”, my old chiropractor is now offering hormone replacement.

They’re con artists, get paid to sign off that you got hurt in a car accident or whatever so your law suit works.
