Slow filtering, what am I doing wrong?

Yea I think it was the filters. I think they were too small and shitty. No shit, all I got filtered was 3 mL by hand in an hour.

Either it was shit filters or I’m just weaker than everyone else
 
.22, 25mm Whatman syringe filters are best and use a caulking gun with 60ml syringe. You can only load 50mls in syringe to fit in most caulking guns so just go 1 filter per 50mls. Warm oil(warm not hot)and when filtering DON'T squeeze with both hands or you will blow the filter for sure so just use rotate hands and when you think you can squeeze harder to make it go faster don't lol.

Once you blow out a filter or two you will get a feel for the max force you can apply and it's smooth sailing after that :)

Thanks, I’m probably gonna go ahead and buy the 60 mL syringes. The smallest quantity I plan to brew is about 40 mL anyways
 
Well I bought some 60mL syringes and some 25mm whatman .22 micron filters. I ordered the syringes 2-3 days ago and already got them, I ordered the filters about a week ago and still haven't gotten them. Though I should have them today. I've decided to just try the caulk gun method.

In the mean time my bold cyp has crashed. I'll reheat and refilter it. Hopefully I can finish this bold cyp brew tonight, one week after starting it.

How much ba/bb is in the mix and what's the mg/ml currently?
 
2/20 at 200mg/ml. I am honestly a bit surprised it crashed at those levels, based off of everything I have read. When I added heat to get it to mix the first time, I added just barely enough to get all of the crystals to go away. Should I add more heat next time?

EDIT: not sure if this makes a difference, but both the filtered and unfiltered liquid I have is crashed

Put everything back into beaker, add enough bb to bring the solution to 25% then apply a good amount of heat and let stir a good hour then turn off heat and continue stirring till solution is room temp. Leave covered a full 24 hours and if it's not crashed(should be fine)you can go ahead and filter.
 
I didn't wait a full 24 hours before filtering into vials, but there was no signs of crashing after about 20, so I went ahead and filtered. Between spilling some of it the other night, throwing out 3 mL's that was unsterilized, and popping s whatman filter at the end of the filtering, I ended up with about 35mL (should've been 50). It wasn't a complete waste, there were plenty of lessons learned. After adding the BB to bring it up to 25%, it should be about 192 mg/mL (I didn't overdose it though, so assuming 95%+ purity it is probably more like 180-185 mg/mL, which I won't complain about. I didn't even think about overdosing when I bought the gear so I don't have enough to do that.

Tonight I plan to brew 100 mL test prop. I have exactly 10 grams, so maybe I'll make 90 mL so I can overdose by 10%. Do most people overdose or recommend overdosing? anything special I should do with prop? I planned on 2/20 for it also

Calculate for 90mls at 110mg/ml.

I warm the bb on hotplate with spin bar then dump in the raw then cover and let mix on low heat for 10 minutes then add in pre warmed mct oil/BA and then let mix for an hour on low heat, covered of course. Then while still warm I filter into gl45 media bottle.

My test-prop never crashes this way so I go straight to filtering, but you can let sit for 24 hours just to be sure all is good before filtering.

Well, I was a whole week late, but so far the recipe/instructions you gave me are working beautifully. I even decided to go to ~70 mLs at 125 mg/mL and 2/20 (+10%, so 137.5mg/mL) and it all appears to be mixed in. I think this second batch will go much better than the first.

Now I just gotta not fuck up the filtering. I got a better caulking gun this time around.

I highly suggest using 25mm, .22 whatman syringe filters bro. Cheaper filters from Amazon tend to break a lot easier and handle less volume. Whatman filters can handle anywhere between 50-80mls depending on the product being filtered.

As for the caulking gun just go slow and when you put the filter on the syringe twist it on and off a couple times before leaving it on as sometimes if you just twist it on too tight it won't come off without breaking.

Yea I ended up picking up the whatman filters. I still have 19 left after my first brew.

I'll update with some pics for sure.

I have done quite a bit of reading in the homebrew section, so based on the info I have gathered, here are my recipes for the rest of the compounds I have left to brew:

Test cyp, 250 mg/mL (+10%, 275), 20/2
DHB, 125 mg/mL (+10%, 137.5), 20/2
NPP, 125 mg/mL (+10%, 137.5), 20/2
Tren A, 125 mg/mL (+10%, 137.5), 20/2
Tren E, 250 mg/mL (+10%, 275), 20/2
Trest A, 100 mg/mL, 20/2, I use so little I didn't plan to overdose
Primo E, 200 mg/mL (+10%, 220), 20/2

I prefer to have slightly higher doses when possible to pin less oil. This is all personal use, so I don't care about it being able to hold up to weather/temperature changes. It'll always be kept around 70F.

Primo E hold fine at 250 with 20/2 :)

I did 262 with 20/2 without heat. Just left it in the cupboard over night.
